hi to all Bitubo top mount users...

 

am i right to say tat Bitubo top mount dampers all are of the same model for all bikes except the mounting brackets? :confused:

 

i'm currently living with a LAB side mount damper... thinking to change to Bitubo top mount...

LAB or Bitubo damper serve the same to hold the steering, just like a $2 and $20 meal both can fill your stomach. Of coz Bitubo u pay for it look and his highest quality damper compare to LAB.

nope. not the same. a damper for s4 might not be the same for r6, as the total steering distance from handlelock to handlelock is difference.

 

mounting brackets are different also.

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

yupz.. S4 got the longest damper if i'm not wrong.. the handlelock distance for sportbikes are lesser..

 

anyway, the length of the damper for S4 still too short by about 5mm? cuz the damper doesnt allow my steering to lock, but was told by ANdrew it wasn't a problem as there's still a spring inside the damper to allow more turning..

 

pros of this damper is i got a low slide on the left and it wasnt really damaged.. if it's a side mount, that's it.. worse the damper will poke thru my leg..!!!

 

 

 

 

been riding for a few months without damper.. missing every moment with it..

 

aracher: if you see Matt, can help me ask my damper bracket ready or not.. thanks..

then why not get a slightly longer damper? dont Bitubo have them? :confused:

that's the good thing about tank-mounted dampers.. no worries about low-sided!

im quite curious some of s4 bike equip wif a steering damper... as what i know bigger cc bike is much more stable... :sweat: can some 1 tell me what is the used of steering damper... :cheeky:

prevents tank slap. stablilise steering on straights and out of corners while you whack the throttle.

Hey Bert, nice damper. But can i request another angle shot of it? Maybe top shot just above the top of the tank...
