as above any pro know how to check? bike shop everytime say no accident but donno true a not

haha, so far haven't seen a shop got tell people their bikes got accident b4 :goodluck:

 

My fren sent in a krr with a leaking tank, funny sound in the engine and most of his redbull paintwork dissolved due to some a-hole who poured paint remover on it.. he got bout 1k for it. 3 weeks later, the bike reemerge as a shiny, stock blue colored krr! Dunno if they do up the engine, but what i can tell u, juz becoz a bike looks good, doesn't mean it never been in an accident b4.. bring an experienced s4 rider (lots of em here) with u.. thats the best way.

check the paint works... it can either be:

1. accident bike, so there will be scratches

2. paint work in perfect condition, but bike is kinda old... i.e. respray after accident maybe?

 

if its an old bike (like 4-5 years old), look at the metal parts... a bit of rust here and there probably means that those parts havent been touched before (cuz no accident so no repairs?)... but if its an old bike with shiny new metal parts, screws etc... it has been changed.. probably after an accident...

just my opinion lah... :p

pro help plz! i suspect my bike got accident be4 they say primary colour is blue but my bike is black!

hmm the shop tell me the ex owner is a malay so he everytime take care his bike , the crushbar and footrest all black..

 

my friend say lock the handlelock and try see if u force turn it , will it turn too much? if turn too much means accident be4 is that true?

actually jus use ur eyes and check for details. accident if minor drop or so is acceptable. u cant see internal but external is still visible to u.

Unless there is damage to the frame , basically all other parts can be changed so cannot really tell lah bro.. As for your colour, should not worry too much. either resprayed or like what i have done before. i choose bike based on mileage then ask shop to change tank and parts with another bike to colour i like.Instant.. For my current ride, i took exhaust from another S4 at the shop. Got dent but sounded better than the stock on my bike.. changed a few other things with other S4 at the shop oso..

everything is by visual expect the main frame especially at the steering cone as we can only feel it by riding...

hmm thanks for for comment bros.. i see the casing is alright everything black and alightment is ok... but the 4 metal sticks is dented below...

i thought sticks are made of wood only..dint noe got sticks made of metal..:faint:

bro, ask a mechanic whom you can trust, don't just check the "cosmetics"... and observe yourself if there is any major leaks.

 

even if the bike had an accident before, it doesn't mean it is not in good condition. Sometimes, sellers repray their bike before letting go cos they want to hide internal damages that can cost the new buyer a bomb if you didn't check properly... internal damages are the problematic ones, which is usually caused by owners bad habits of not taking good care of the bike, like ramming the trottle, dragging your gears, and not changing the engine oil regularly.

 

as long as you didnt see any major leaks to the engine block, ask the mechanic to check your engine condition, and observe if your bike give you any problems during your ridin... you need not worry too much about it! =)

bROS... iS it possible tt a spec 2 engine one mth nev start le will causes alot of white smoke? then after reving then everythings alright...

maybe its the water vapour or steam due water accumulation during the 1 mth period..but would suggest to crank the engine with the engine cutoff switch in the off position so as to allow the engine oil to circulate since the engine has not been started for 1 mth..

She waits for me patiently downstairs, thru rain and shine..Yet she never complains and serving me with loyalty..a true beauty that u will not regret...

Observation to be made especially at the frames and the engine castings, there might be uneven colors mismatch or tell-tale signs of deep scratches mark.
