Help everyone... I'm riding a brand new Spec III and I've been waiting patiently for my next pay to install RaceShield on my bike to protect it from scratches and whatnot but lo and behold!! Today I discovered 2 scratches on my rear end!!

They're on the plastic just beside the passenger handle thingy. Omg...  I'm so depressed!! My bike is an original grey/gunmetal colour and the scratches are black and white so it's pretty damn obvious!! I'm quite the perfectionist and was considering replacing the whole rear unit.

Would Boon Siew have an original replacement tail section in the same colour for me to purchase? If I think I cannot live with the thought of the scratches there I was thinking of replacing it and IMMEDIATELY installing RaceShield. No delays.

So would anyone know if Boon Siew (since it's the sole Honda dealer in Singapore) have that EXACT PART AND COLOUR?? I can't live with the fact that my bike is cosmetically marred!!

Sorry for repeating myself. I'm hysterical now actually... :cheeky: :cheeky:

[A] I also have that scratch on mine too when i bought the bike on july, same location near the rear tail. Plus i also have one deep scratch on my front fender. Before taking my bike out, pointed it to the salesman, nothing was done but heck, just a small scratch.

Wait till you enter 2nd link to clear carbon tailing a friend(who's tires are sticky),comfirm more heartache, you will see stones flying like bullets...

aiyoooh... yeah damn heart pain... i don't know how it could have happened really... since if I'm riding, that particular part would surely be covered by my body... the thing is, i only noticed it when i was about to ride home after work... maybe someone langgar it and scratched it in the process.... sigh...

well, new bike, sure heart pain. n if every little scratch bother u, then u r living miserably. try to use stickers to cover them. they can act as cosmetics too.

cars DO have wet clutches, just that the clutch plates are encased in transmission fluid.

Sorry forget to re-edit,not all cars are using dry clutch. :cheeky:

Balance on H.P. Loan: $3600

Interest: $1032

24mths of $193/month : $4632

Total Payable on H.P: $5032

That's all in the computer-generated receipt.

Bro...

Tink better list down all the charges incurred for easily understanding...

From the above is not enought as u said that u reloan $3600 for 2yrs... Hence the interest should only be $360 for 5% per annual for machine price only... I personally tink the interest is inclusive of ur insurance, gst, agreement fee, transfer and of cos the interest for all of them...

Did ya give them any cash btw?

Hi Hellevate,

You can drop by Boon Siew as they might (actually they should) have the part catalog with exact part numbers. If not, you can try FJT (Honda parts stockist) at Rowell Road as they also have the part catalog. At the same time, you can also have prices comparison b/w the 2 places. :cheeky:

Good Luck! :thumb:

Thank You.

Hi all,

I just bought 2nd hand vtec 1 FR plate .

1) I know when reserve, the Speedo meter will show

runining bar moving from right to left.

Q : when start bike shown 1 bar, then when start moving for awhile.

it shown bar moving from right to left. (case 1)

Start on button bike already shown bar moving from right to left. (case2)

(I just assume nvr encouter before)

So what is the different bet case 1 and case 2.

The next question is simple, when start on button , the oil light incidator

light up then start on bike the oil light incidator gone, is it normal.

Bros,

where is the best motorshop or its mechanic to do carb tuning?

Thanks

I had very good results with Combine Motor at Sin Ming Autocare since my carb (CB400RR-J, GSX-R400) days way back in 2002~2004. Whenever it is tuned/sync'ed by them (look for Ah Hock or Ah Keong), power delivery is immediately felt crisped & smooth on the next N-S session. You can try them at the addy below.

Combine Motor Trading

176 Sin Ming Drive, Sin Ming Autocare

#02-21

S(575721)

Tel: 6 451 3386

I stuck to them since they provide good service (I love their tuning most!) & they also happen to be walking distance from my house!:cheeky: Might not be the cheapest in town, but most of all, what I like abt them personally, is their honesty in all repairs. I am more willingly to pay a little more instead of being cheated.

Thank You.

Thanks! My friend told me that long ago but I forgot until you mentioned this.

He also recommend Ah Hock the most but the guy is always not around in the shop.
