after u put on the exhaust after about 1/2 yr it will discolour due to the heat.....

Hi. The Carbon Fibre Sticker from LAB at $5 can wrap the entire end can for 2B sports bike? More than enough? And easy to wrap? The thing will automatic stick on? Sorry, asking alot of questions, because I want my end can to have those carbon look. I like the design of it. :cheeky:

u mean u like ur end can to have a brownish, burnt out kind of look?

yah... that's how ur end can will be like after the heat from the exhaust burns ur "carbon-looking" end can.

dun think u understood what i was trying to say previoulsy :cheeky:

if u r lucky, the carbon look will last u 1/2 yr (see aldebaran's previous post). then it will discolour and u will get a "nice" looking, brown and "chao-tar" look. not too sure if u will like them after that.

I think I'm confused. Mind if you can post up some pics? I'll go search the web and see if can get those pics too. Then maybe can understand what kind of "chao ta" look...

:faint:

:slapforehead:

i'll keep it simple.

initially, may look good as the sticker still looks new.

then, the heat from the exhaust will brown your sticker. still confused about how it look like? go to a bakery and see those baking paper after coming out from the oven. a brownish kind of colour. that's how the sticker on ur exhaust will look like.

Digging an old thread here...

Anyone knows where to get the dry-carbon-fibre-look stickers?

CF material u use ur finger nail sort of "scratch" it u can feel it's like alot of layers over it.. and it will produce a sound..

*cf wrapped endcan*

for other material wise like plastic/parts etc.. u look at the 3d of the cf.. u can see it's very 3d look closer u can see it.. for fake cf sticker(just cosmetic only)

it's like jus the design of it.. u cant see the 3d..

Some real CF are coated with a layer of lacquer, so u can't really feel the CF texture.
