I used to be in an oil industry for 1 and a half year. From the info given by exige:

* SPC and Caltex should have the cleanest products, followed by Esso and lastly...ShXXX.....

That I know is true

* Pump in the early mornings or at night after some heavy downpour. The idea is to pump when the petrol is at its coldest. Cause our petrol is charged by volume; and when its cold, the petrol contracts most. Hence we get more petrol for our money when we pump when its cold.

Hmm... Maybe true cus it makes sense. :angel:

Yes bro, spc the petrol that uses up damn fast.. Meaning their mileage is not good, infact the worst ive ever tried.

For me petronas the best for mileage.

hi guys, wonder whats the recommended grade of petrol for spec 3? example 95 or 95? thanks in advance newbie super 4 rider here!

Depends on your bike condition. If 95 you feel smooth, then 95 it is... Like me, I always pump Caltex w/ Techron and at least once a month on SPC and Shell V-power.

change to pumping SPC, contary to other ppl, my FC does not drop because of its 'smoothness and cleaness', still the same as when i pump esso.

Spc now good is it? My bike just cant accept spc sia.. Engine rough and mileage no good. now punp caltex or petronas only..

1) Shell 95: +Mileage / -Power.

2) Shell 97: Mileage / Power.

3) Shell V Power: Mileage / ++Power.

4) Petronas 97: Mileage / +Power. Strong petrol smell, especially morning startup.

5) Esso 97: Mileage / -Power.

6) Caltex: ? coz nvr try b4.

I will use Shell V power once a mth for fuel system cleanning.
