halo everyone,

just to share....i finally visited a dentist in yrs...since my coy paid for it.

they did an xray and told me i have crack lines on my teeth.....which normally caused by biting ice, chewing bones, blah blah.....biting hard when sleeping and also ......during sports activities.

for me, i can only think of me biting my teeth when riding....especially when rain.

so track riders, consider investing some money on a teeth/mouthguard....

"boil and Bite" mouthguard is the cheapest...less than 40US according to some sites....

a custom made my dentist costs about 400 sing.

take note: rossi wears a mouthguard

Don't just break your laptimes, SHATTER them!!

You can find them at various sports stores.

But for a better range, try contact sports shops, like Liang Seng.

This shop, located at Marina Square & Jurong Point, caters to the martial arts & boxing crowd.

I bought a set way back in Poly days for my karate competition. Think it was around $5.

Its not really boil. Boil & Bite will only get you 2 day's MC.

Put in very hot water and let it soften. Then bite it to let it conform to your jaw & teeth shape.

Only thing that saved my teeth from a direct hook to the jaw was this thing. :)

Dump in a glass of hot (not boiling) water for about 1-2 minutes, 5 maximum, AFAIR.

I would advice not to use boiling water to prevent scalding.

Speaking from personal experience. :)

Very hot water, at least won't be so difficult to put in your mouth.

I've confirmed this with an old fren who is still into martial arts.

Amba, your custom made one so ex?

Same fren recently had his made for about $300.
