Taller windshield can get from Biketech 21, syed alwi street for the powerbronze one, prob one of the taller one around, a few of us have gotten ours from there

1. Could anyone tell me the market price for a NT650?

saw one at bikeshop sellin 02 model, resprayed in white, coe till 2011 (renewed). at $6800

 

2. What is a common problem for this bike? Rectifier?speedo?Shaft prob?etc...

As for the price of NT650

my 2cent view: a 10 year old bike, it will cost around $2-$2.5K + new COE + new print(+/-$350- 500) +Trf fee(+/-90)+ 2nd party fire n theft insurance+(6 month + 1 year )Road tax = OTR

( I think 6k will be ok, subject to the condition of the bike)

 

Common Problem

Weak Fairing, but can be repair,our dr deauville just did it

Rectifier every honda bike same,

speed ok to me 120km -160 km ns high way,

shaft, just need to change oil often,

have fun .

currently I'm still looking around for a taller windshield for the 650 DV...dunno where have..or still have or not..haha

Yeah, as Hippo rightly pointed out, most common prob is the weak fairing. Other than that, engine is pretty much bullet proof which prob only requires the changing of gaskets or rubber mounts etc once in a while as with any other bikes. Apart from that, havent heard of any probs regarding to shaft from brothers here (as long as u change the oil every 6 months to a year? - sure beats the hell out of oiling a chain every other week) Didnt have rectifier probs before as well, at least on mine. Hope it helps!

Bro..I just paid for mine..6k...02 model..with COE and all..I just have this feeling that with the rising COE prices, bike shops are also jacking up prices of bikes whose COE they renew..its just my thoughts though..hehe

After fixing it, I am sure I will get careless drivers' attention when they cut into my path haphazardly with good blast from a good two tone horn! It can save my life or myself from injury!!!

yeah he doesnt keep them in stock, the last time we bought also had to wait a couple of weeks

up to date 2 unit all has been rebuild to tip top condition.

wish can watch him at work on his bikes...but i must admit there r reli hard core deauville lovers in the world...got one webbie...this fella on the net complete w pictures show to do the valve clearance picture by picture...how awesome is tt?!..this bike is also not easy to come by...there's one fella sellin a deauville currently at 5.8k along w 9 yrs renewed coe remaining...darn...wish i got some hard cash ....

if you can DIY install your horns,

this should not be a problem.

Hi, please take note for replacement of nt650 windshield you need to remove the front top fairing box (just be careful of the fairing is very weak) and for NT700 Just remove 4 screw from the wind shield.
