Ride safe bro. Its quite a straight forward ride up. Just check back regularly and be aware of groups of cubs riding nearby. Neway u mite just meet Imran and Riz there. These GOoNDuU's are jus unpredictable. Maybe i should say we planning on Genting trip next time around. Next we see these monkeys on top of the hill.

I always have mine along Jalan Wong Ah Fook ... the Mama selling the Chendol at road side... I had my first Chendol when I was a boy along there, so it brings back memories

 

Also, if any of you go Klang(dunno if spelled wrongly...) they have those fried banana... $2rm will fetch you a paper bag full of it... what is special about it, is that they come with their very own homemade chili which you can dip your fried banana ... something unique to share with you guys

- Important - From the last trip's happenings, those with a tyre repair kit, do bring it along and indicate beside your name that you have one.

 

- Meet at Jurong Birdpark Carpark, take the AYE and exit to Jurong Pier Road(make a U-Turn if coming from KJE, go straight if coming from PIE). The carpark is on your left after the junction.

 

- Meeting time is at 2245hrs, move off is at 2315hrs. If you are going to be late, sms me with your name at 91858701 so that we can wait for you.

 

- Have at least 3.5 litres of petrol. If you have just touched the first reserve when you reach the bird park, its ok. We will be pumping at GP Esso or Petronas.

 

- Bring your passport, filled white card, ringgit for petrol and food, RM3.20 and cashcard with at least $1.40 if going back by Tuas. If going back by Woodlands, you only need RM1.60 and $0.70 in your cashcard.

 

- Bring rain coat or jacket just in case it rains. If you are Ironman, skip this step and bring WD40 instead.

 

- Bring your WAGs and friends if you want cos everybody is welcomed.

 

- Lastly, ride safe on your way there and see you!

By the way... got to ask this question about the coolant... my milage already around mid 6k going to be 7k soon, should I top up my coolant or not? Can't see any overflow of coolant to the overflow reservoir recently leh ... wanted to flip the fuel tank up to check the main coolant container .. but leh chey leh ... Any idea should I go top up or not? (By the way, I have not top up the coolant since I first got the bike )

No worries la....as long as the coolant level dun drop below LOW, you should be fine. Just remember to change/flush coolant every year. This is to prevent sludge build up in the system. My coolant maintenance is due in Feb 2009.
