2nd hand are all very subjective. It depends on what aftermarket items it comes it, any modifications to it, and must you have it?

Even so, there is the machine's history. With 2nd hand you don't know the actual history.

It is always good to shop around and compare prices. You will never know what you gonna get. Some other bike shop may have the same spac and mods but priced less.

In the end if you really want it, you will buy it. No matter how much it costs.

PS: GSR comes with ABS and non-ABS models. ABS tends to cost more.

tks for ur advice..

Which bikeshop did u see from it from??

A test ride maybe able to help to know if it's well maintain... Or cos another concern will be the exterior view.

Yes. Make sure dun fill up at the wrong place. Further front is the coolant reservoir. hahaha.

If empty better check. It could be leaking. Later one day wanna brake cannot do it. Service the part if problem persists.

Did u recently replace the hoses? Sumtimes the banjo nuts area is not properly secured. It may leak slowly to the point its not that visible.

No leh... maybe check again after fill up... Is it common to have liquid flowing out from the 2 tubes underneath our bike? Smell like some gasoline...

I heard from my friend today that GSR400 is prone to overheating problem? second, is part easily available? from first page, it seems a bit difficult for part but that post is dated 2005. it has been four years? still the same? GSR400 is only from PI right? how about warranty? I am sorry. I am not familiar with the way things work here.

This is not flame bait. I am considering between this bike or super4.

Thanks a lot.

Like u said. 4 yrs already. Parts are around. Just like super4 in its prepubescent years. Also no parts what. Same goes for every new bike in the market. Prone to overheating? Well i would say depends on situation ah. Its all a case by case basis. Your friend rides a GSR? If no then its jus hearsay. Put a super4 and GSR side by side and let it idle. BOTH also will heat up but which cools faster is a different thing. Ride it then u know it. Like what we told many riders that are considering. If u like it just buy it and experience it yourself.

Maintenence wise both are the same. Same number of plugs, EO, same same. Only diff is that GSR has bigger rear tyres. Up to u to depict what bigger tyres would mean. More expensive or better grip. Good luck in your choice.

Never face any overheating issue since 1st day till now. Bike already 2 yrs old.

Yes parts are readily available. If cannot get original parts, aftermarket parts can be used. It also depends on what type of parts you are talking about.

Yes GSR400 is PI since the agent here do not think GSR400 can be sold easily. Since day 1, have not experience any major faulty equipment. As long as follow the law and maintenance schedule (applies to all bikes).

Warranty depends on the shop that you buy it from.

In the end, decide what you want and not be pressured by others. Its you who will ride the bike anyway.
