1.5k rpm is set too high. The recommended factory setting is 1.2k rpm +/-100.

If it is your EFI issue, then it will be a big problem in the future. It will be in the $Ks to replace. Still need to check the FI codes to really determine what is wrong.

Please do visit shops that specialised in these EFI. Not saying the shop you went is no good. Only that they would know what to check for if such issues happen. I've been to MW when I had a slight worry with the FI error, they know what to do, they also have the tools to diagonise.

You may wanna visit another shop like Racewerks to get a 2nd opinion.

Read carefully. He change the whole ECU unit. That is what you may need to do if it is that serious. There are no keys that costs that much....so far from what I know.

By default if one of the sensors goes into trouble, they will juz be using a default value. It will not flash unless it feels that its a major problem.

Freak has experience this when the mech did not 'put' back one of the sensors back correctly.

Relax we dun really know what is causing the problem. It could be an easy problem where one of the sensors was not pluged in properly.

Are the guys at RaceWerks friendly? hahaha

I dun go there...so cannot comment hahhaa. I juz say RaceWerks coz near HKL mah. No need to go so far.

My main trusted workshops. Planet Motors at Ubi Industrial Estate. This is near the TP HQ.... Another is Bikeworks down at Shunli Industrial Park at kaki bukit. Below Kaki Bukit Vicom inspection center.

not so.

Hong Kan Liao refused to do my steering cone bearing and kept insisting that the problem lies in my fork oil. change fork oil: $50, change bearing: $110.

wanted to give him $110 don't want so took my money elsewhere and indeed, its the steering cone bearing.

rien d'autre que le max.
