With the price of yen and COE going up, I dont think there is so much difference between S4 and GSR400 for new bikes. As for 2nd hand, always depends on your luck. Wear and tear do exist. And S4 being so common on the road, people tend to get exotic kind. And since GSR400 is one of the newest on the market, people tend to swipe them off the shelves. Last time I always hear people saying Suzuki no value when selling.....Can I prove them wrong now? hahahaha.

Anyway if you are looking for the latest and newest bike for 400cc, Suzuki Galdius 400 is out but dunno if will reach our shores. I heard Kawa is also bringing in a 400cc bike. Price will be darn ex due to yen and COE of coz.

I bought mine at 13.5k last 3 yrs......and my S4 was abt 13.4k last 5 yrs FYI hahahah.

B`cos S4 is common as u mention. Alright will look out for those models mentioned. Thanks alot!

Raceshield.....turns yellow over time. Tank Bra, need to air the tank over time...if not, paint will fade and turn dull colour.

Me.....Neither....go naked all the way....A good Polish and Wax, with Cat test, does the job nicely.

not sure if anyone experienced this before or not, but here goes..

i was riding back from work just now when it started to rain quite heavily. my coolant temperature read at 83 degrees prior to stopping. i left my bike with its engine running in the rain while i ran into the shelter to put on my rain coat. when i was about to move off, i noticed the temperature had went up to 91 degrees.

rode in the rain from jalan kayu flyover back to yishun. at the lentor exit i noticed something odd. the coolant temperature had dropped to 78 degrees. but upon reaching the traffic light junction of yishun ave 1 it read 66 degrees!

now im not sure to be happy or alarmed at that kind of reading because throughout my 4 years riding the GSR i've never got a reading lower than 78 degrees while riding (be it in the hot weather or a cold rainy night).

it was either my cooling system was extra efficient or up in the heavens their water cooler system suffered a major leak thus it rained icy cold water.

rien d'autre que le max.

Could it be your temp sensor not working well? Maybe can troubleshoot this and see if that is the cause. Loose connection?? I do not think coolants get more efficient as time goes by....Juz thinkin out loud.

My nature is functionality first. Its to shield your from the windblast...especially in Malaysia's NSW. Always wanted MRA double windshield....but price shun me away. In the end bought Givi...hehhe As for the pix...you can go to Regina to enquire.

i flush my coolant every year. i've used waterwetter before. recently changed to maxima coolaide. my opinion? all the same only waterwetter is troublesome have to mix here and there.

coolant is very recent. remember 2548? haha i'll take a look at the sensor tomorrow. hopefully its just the heavy downpour. visibility was very low i had to turn on the hazards plus my tail blinker.

sometime i do get reading of 77degree becos of the night wind or riding in the rain... becos while riding... more cold air are going thru your air vent which cool the engine...

while stationary.. the enigne is still running and no air intake from the air vent.. so it naturally goes up.. and ones it hit 98degree if i rmb.. the fan will auto turn on...

Hey guys, Can check with you guys something about fork....

1) for fork servicing normally need how long(plus fork oil change)? More than an hour?

2) How much usually?

3) Is it a must to change fork oil? How frequent you change it? Or simply change the fork seals will do?

This morning happened to see my fork seals spoilt... some oil did come out from the fork...

Thank you.....
