Hahaha.. Jurong industrial bro?.. Guys after from a ride when i park my bike why there's a tik.... tik... sound from e engine? Issit nrmal due to heat..

the ticking sound is usually metal contracting and expanding.. quite common for most bikes..

if you hear the sound right after u off ur ignition, and it goes away after some time, should be normal. and if the sound cannot be heard when the engine is warm, its ok.

unless the ticking sound doesnt go away, or its a rather loud tapping sound, or.. if the ticking sound can be heard even when the engine is cold. then you might need workshop to check it out.

im not some pro but these are what i know from personal experience. hope that helps! haha.

If you ask the bikeshops nicely....I'm sure they can bring in....and yes Japs still producing them. Reason why no new ones is because of Japs Yen Prices. Would you pay for a 400cc bike for 19k-21k?

1l/20-22km... Btw guys after fixing yoshi or leovince hw is ur mileage?

Hw bad does it affect?

I've had my LeoVince pipe for a month plus now and have been monitoring my mileage. Initially i was surprised cos my mileage improved from 18~19km/L (stock pipes) to 20~21km/l (LV pipe).

After a month now, it seems to stabilise at 19~20km/l.

I'm a throttle happy kinda guy, i ride a constant 100~110km/h on expressways and the occasional naughty blasts of 140 when i see no speed cameras and/or TP around (dun follow me horh!)

I think the initial good fuel mileage is due to me not being used to the loudness of the pipe. I revved lower and changed gears at a lower rpm cos i dun wanna disturb my neighbours. But after hearing my friends R6 fitted with a defeaning Termignoni pipe, i realised my LV pipes were not as loud as i though it was and i resumed my throttle happy riding.

End of the day, its all in your wrist control and your riding technique.

In conclusion, to answer your question; and based on my personal opinion, fixing the pipes did not affect my mileage.

Take note i did not alter the tuning of my bike in any way, (eg: powercommander). If you changed the fuel mapping of your bike, the fuel consumption might change. This one you have to ask our other bros who have it installed on their rides.

Hope i helped bro!

Happy riding!

And lots of money to get the necessary certs hahhaha

Ohhh ya...The exhaust cert MUST says its intended for that bike...example a 600cc exhaust (stamp on the cert) CANNOT be used on a 400cc bike.

You must be pretty rich to say 21 litre/km and its pretty decent. Just imagine your monthly fuel purchase!
