Guys, wondering how do you wash the belly pan. I finally got around to giving my bike a good scrub last weekend and realised there is a lot of muck in the belly pan. Am not sure what is the most effective way to get it clean.

Hi there, you can take it out and give it a good scrub. I found pebbles, twigs and even coins hidden in the belly pan. Take it out and probably you might find some treasure in it! Btw, you're Pavan rite?

Depends on ur riding style, the journey and the bike itself. The FC is between 21km/l to 25km/l. Get any lower milage means its your problem or the bike problem.

Since its a 16 litre tank, at most can get about 336km to 400km. Please do not let the petrol run dry as it will damage the fuel pump in the long run.

Please note, new bikes do not have reserver tank, if it says 16......it means 16 litres

serious, can go that far? mine is 277km for 14.36 litre, thats about 19km/l. (petronas ron 95)

bike is stock, except for knn air filter.

and also my rpm is 7 @ 100km

I'm sorry to say but I dislike Malaysian Petrol....seems to be thinner. (Maybe to my super eyes). By right if you are using lower octane for the bike, it should get more mileage.

I am always getting 20 - 22 km per liters. I only get the best mileage when I was running in which is at 80km/h that one i think I touch 24km/liter before. So I guess its the way you ride. No now more, too throttle happy hahaha. The manual did say if maintain 60km/h at gear 6 can get 35km/l but I never try before hahhaha.

Mine is mod with pipes (pipe and midpipe), air fuel controller, atre, aftermarket filter.

Its personal opinion bro, i pump singapore petrol before too, caltex and esso, but nothing beats petronas, seems its the best for my style. I guess its psychological.

IMO ... I have tested and proven Petronas does give more mileage when I ride up north on NSH... second comes Mobil F1... for normal daily riding(to work), I usually pump Shell V-power(racing) at JB... if there is no (racing) then pump the V-power(97). Not all Shell in JB provide V-Power(racing). Comparing between Singapore's V-power and Malaysia's V-Power.... it's definitely Singapore ... because occasionally I will pump Singapore's V-power and I can really feel the engine revving smoother...

Reason for pumping different petrol is because from the years of riding...

Petronas/Mobil F1 give good mileage... not so smooth engine but still ok... throttle response not so good(move off slower). A good petrol for touring.

Malaysia's V-power(Racing or 97) give good response to throttle(move off faster) ... cheaper than SG's V-power :)... Good for normal daily riding.

SG's V-power ... needless to say... expensive petrol... good response to throttle .. smooth ride ... I only pump it when there is discount(same price as Shel 97)... I'm a cheapo. hehe

Other petrol... I never pump...so I dunno. ... Above are all my own opinions from my experiences.... dun flame me hor ... if you think xxx or yyy petrol is better ... so be it.... it's up to individual to experience and test it on their own bike to know the differences... we cannot say xxx is definitely good for your bike.... etc... you have to test it on your own bike with your own style of riding then you will know the different....

Cheers.... and ride safe!

good stuff, i agree with you too, petronas really give good mileage. i tried, putrajaya to pagoh with ron95 only used 1 bar ++, so sick that i stop and check if my fuel meter is spoilt.

regarding the malaysia v-power vs singapore v-power, hmm, i tried both, i dont feel any diff but it varies from person to person, or maybe its psycholigical? its human nature to believe that expensive things are better... hahhahaa *remind me of the PLAIN WATER prank test*
