hi bro wanna ask u pros, i was cruising at 100km @ 6rpm.... decided to speed up, suddenly at 110km the rpm auto reset & the bike died off. Stop by the road shoulder & on the dashboard it says top left hand corner CHECK, red light at the bottom of it, and at riding speed my bike temp is ard 80 - 85.... is it normal?? Any of u faced this prob?? need help :)
hi

Been facing the same problem as you for the past 2 days. While riding suddenly bike jerks and rpm drops. Dashboard showed FI but can still ride. Sometimes it just dies off and needs restarting.. When it dies off it will shoe CHECK also.. Need to meddle with the kills switch again b4 can restart the bike. Today it dies of again while riding and starts immediately upon pressing the electric start..

Iz it reprogram of the ECU via Teka Mapping (http://www.factorypro.com/TEKA_SFI/TEKA_SFI_suzuki%20fi,%20fuel%20injection,ECU.html) ?

The above is one way to adjust the Fuel Map of the bike.

So the only way is to do this TEKA mapping?? Any other recommadation to help on the fuel consumption?? Any other advice GSRians...... Thanks

There are a few that I know of

PC III - Piggyback method

ICON II - Piggyback method

Rapid - Piggyback method

Teka Mapping - Direct to ECU

Above all got its pros and cons. So do your research first. And NO cannot install more than 1 unit on 1 bike. You can try if you want to but I see no point.
