Seriously dude, if you're thinking of getting a windshield to block wind, then I think most after market wind shield will not do it. You might have to source for a custom made wind shield.

 

Anyway, it's a naked bike. Most of the available windshield will not block much of the wind... it's more like a cosmetic add on.

Then you might wan to consider MRA or Givi. Those should be big enough. MRA you can approach Motoworld and for Givi you can go the MAH.

Gsr with windshield = very ugly..... So let it be, ride with the wind.... not block the wind! lol

just a question...will it be weird for a gsr in full carbon fiber uncluding the swing arm andbody frame cover.. really in need of opinions.

In my opinion its what matters to YOU, if u like it then dont bother what anyone else says, at the end of the day YOU are the one riding the monster, =] i think it'll be cool but go easy on the carbon fibre. =]

 

I'm just waiting to decal the front and rear white and get a tank bra and i'm done =] hehe (for now)

No worries lah bro. Most of the GSR riders have jumped to the Fazer Bro's. Some still Suzuki... Some HARD CORE GSR rider... But bigger CC only

Best is to go to another bike shop for second opinion. I was once told by one bike shop that my timing chain is off too... but I went to another bike shop and they told me it was fine. I took the risk and didn't change, the bike is still able to bring me to Thailand and back.

 

However, it is a serious issue if your timing chain is loose or wear off... so, better to get it fix or else if it broke, the damage will be even more $$$.

This man do customized jobs for your bike, of course prices will be accordingly quoted.

 

From what I know is that the faring is OEM suzuki so this means that you gotta go Guan Hoe and inquire about it.

 

For those who wanna do seat, there are several options for you.

3. Eugene Saddlery

4. Other misc "Auntie" shops

 

My preference will be Eugene Saddlery as his work is always top notch and he quotes very reasonable pricing!

I overhauled my hyper miler back in 2010 for $2500++. Timing chain and top service won't cost that much. I did mine at 70'000km at planet for less than 600 I think.

I think the old birds will recall how much I clocked during my ownership of my GSR. new owner is a lucky guy.. The engine internals are 80% new.
