Oh, Smint is living in the past, hehehe.

Ok I will update my status here again soon if I can make it this Friday. So far I have nothing on. I am really looking forward to meeting all you GSR bros. This is my first heavy bike, so I have much to learn, compared to the easy old 2B days...

hey guys juz wondering if any of u ever encounter such thing

my bike will tend to jerk at low rpm while deceleration/engine brake its like wanna die dun wanna die like tat.. even when riding down slope..usually happend in 1st 2nd & 3rd gear..

ive change the following parts but the problem still remains

1) chain and sproket

2) timing chain and tensioner

3) spark plug

does it have to do with fuel pump?

will it solve it i remove the vacuum valve line ( provided our bike have one)

the jerk really getting on my nerve!!! help!!

thanx

I encounter the same problem too!!

2 days already & still the same problem!

Was crusing at gear 6 90-100km/hr & when drop to

gear 4-3 then suddenly the bike like switch off then switch on

again. Its quite dangerous if I'm at 1st lane road.

-My chain & sprocket just changed.

I thot it might be spark plug but problem still persist for your case.

Maybe it's our clutch plate wear & tear?

Or maybe magnetic coil?

Any experience GSRians please help us:(

Well, I don't think it's really good as pole lights since it's 360 degrees. Especially for those with windshields, it'll cause the light to be reflected towards the user.

Sounds like the "Herky Jerky" effect that EFI bikes experienced.

i doubt its the clutch plate coz i juz change mine too ahahahah ive change alot of parts hoping to solve the problem but all attempt fail....but my high end feel smooth though...

yeah i heard abt the herky jerky thing....

in my opinion i tink its either the fuel pump or ECU...but the oem ecu not adjustable

i guess i try changing the fuel pump...

I got read one article he adjust his engine brake effect by adjusting the ecu using a third party gadget...ive yet to ask workshop who cam do this...

Could be FI dirty or clogged..prevent fuel to be delivered properly...if fuel pump spoilt it will effect all gears and hard to accelerate or sudden acceleration.

It might help for you guys that have problems to turn up during the meet ups...It could juz be idling too low that causes the fault. Juz saying.

If it is major, then need to change ECU already. Usually these things happen when CDI dying in Carb bikes. By talking in here without the old birds to see, everything will be like NATO hahahah.
