anyone interested in just the left side for the Motovation sliders? i just need the right side... skidded on my second day riding

and to those who do not have sliders or crash bars:

how ah?? for bike, coil to ecu, ecu to rectifier...and it goes on to the EFI.. EFI bikes and carb bikes are different...

The initial voltage to the coil is not as strong as to the coil, for carb.

U can ask the mechanics for a better explainations.

Previously my bike R1 is a carb model, and i run start it for a due to batt. It further damage my rectifier.

My fren's bike was an EFI model, cbr929, got the same problem, so i asked him to run start to go bike shop. His rectifier and coil burnt..we asked mechanicthe issue..

The mechanics said that the batt was faulty, so when u run start it damaged the rectifier, and when u futher run start the bike, it damages the coil.

If u look closly at the schemetics diagram, u can see it well....

wrong.

Personally, I would thought it would be possible (but not easy) to push-start a EFI bike if there is still sufficient battery power but not if the battery is totally flat as there would not be sufficient power to prime the needed equipment (fuel pump priming, initial EFI power, etc).

But that's just me.

Anybody here is within contact of a welding equipment and can help me with a small project of mine?

so what's the right answer? i mean, since you already take the trouble to say "wrong" just tell us the right answer also la... :)

anyway to go back to the original issue, i.e. why EFI cannot push start... i think is because injectors also need elect supply in order to pump fuel (and in fact needs quite a high pressure), whereas carb will pump so long as bike is cranked, hence EFI bikes can't start when push-started?

is that right? (i'm just making some guesses...)
