suzy ah..

sometimes you let your tits do too much of the typing you know.

anyway, the bike can only be adjusted so much.

what really needs to adapt is the rider.

proof: try riding a scrambler the exact same way you ride a chopper.

'nuff said.

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:

Yo bro, somethings need not go mech to do...of coz mech will be happy...they will sharpen their spanners and smile wide wide at u for a 2 minute job heheheh.

Anyway its important to know a trusted shop near your area. So if got prob, easy to get the things fixed. I cannot advice on that coz not living in that area.

Wen there is a gathering, prepare all your questions. I do believe all/some are willing to help (if they are expect in that).

my bike has already clocked 61000km on the odometer. Still running on stock suspension settings.

About my riding style, u guys can ask dinie. :)

let's just say he leaves me behind while around the bends when we both started at the same time..

Most of u guys fail to understand that EJ has an advantage over us normal riders man. He's using FRICTIONLESS panniers. Thus giving him the upper hand and better streamline and stability over the bends. The only way u guys wana keep up with him is to go into his slipstream and tag along. The moment u fall out of the slipstream and u get left behind.

Ok some of u guys may say that EJ may not be using his side panniers on that day. But u guys forgot that the rack is still there. Thou not effective as with the panniers but still gives the advantage.

Now at this point some may enquire, "EH! Flareon also using panniers, why does he not have the same kind of effect?" Well now i will tell u guys why. DO u guys notices that when Flareon rides, he will start putting on his riding jacket, gloves and sleek fullface helmet. Others may see that he only wearing normal equipment but in actual fact these are upmarket equipment that we do not normally see locally. Riding jacket is fully armoured with titanium plates and materials are actually several layers crossed stitched kevlar bonded together with the latest material that actully creates a super strong rigid compound upon sudden shock and impact. Similar qualites are seen with the other equipment on Flareon. This overall makes the bike really heavy and thus the power to weight ratio. Have u guys not seen how tired Flareon is the moment we stop at our destinations. Pale faced but still with a smile.

So in all to summarise, EJ goes for speed and agility and Flareon goes for safety and ruggedness.

Which comes to my next conclusion: Selamat Hari Raya Bros!! :thumb:

A bit difficult leh bike adapt to rider....sure got things not suited to you.

If you are talking about MotoGP then different already. That one is confirm bike suited for rider. Many many engineers will listen to the rider hehhe.

Anyway good luck on the mod, sure an expensive hobby hehehe.

Ya i noe not everything on the bike can be adapted to suit the rider..but at least i wana feel comfortable wit riding the bike..not lose confidence in it..

MotoGP bike different story lah...Can only dream to get tat kinda treatment in the REAL world..

hopStick;4694213']Seems like you really know how to appreciate "riding". I myself wasn't a sensitive rider, hence, still using the standard settings.

Would like to learn how to set the suspensions :)

Nonetheless, I think your doing a great job in making ur bike to adapt to you.

Friend is still doing her run-in, will ask from her when she's done with her run in. (regarding the suspensions)

:thumb:

I'm still learning abt the workings of the bike...obviously it handles a lot diff than my S4..i'm juz using wats adjustable on the bike to the full extent..But if ur comfortable wit the standard settings, then its great for u...dun hav to crack head like me to find the most optimum setting...

thanks for contributing to e LAB funds for buying e road n change it to LAB ROAD...

haha...

Seriously i'm not tat all amused by ur sarcasm..is it wrong for me to juz make the bike more comfortable for me to ride? i sure dun wana end up as road kill by losing confidence in my bike..Why does suzuki put all those adjustable things on the bike if u dun use it for a comfort ride? Not everyone is the same..some feel good wit the standard setting, while others mite feel uncomfortable..i hope u understand my situation..all i ask is a lil advise from u guys who are experienced in riding this bike...thanks to dinie and the others for lending a helping thought..it sure has helped me in dealing wit tis problem..

what everyone is trying to tell you is to adapt to this bike, thats all...

learn how this bike respons and make the full use out of it...

and if you cant adapt to this machine, you are putting yourself in great danger out on the road...

every road and every corners is different, are you going to stop and do your settings before you going to take any corners???

Not going to say the taboo phrase "change b**e" since you just did! hahaha I always believe advice given in forum should always taken with a pinch of salt. From what i observed, the replies are" don't waste monies replacing expensive stuff. This advice are given with with ur interest at heart. Like u said different riders different preference. I also have an insensitive ka chng so cannot offer you advice to the settings. We used to have a suspension expert here but he self exiled himself liao. Hope you will be you able to finetune ur ride without spending a bomb.
