cephlix> relaks bro. This u can afford to trial and error. cos u running a cdi. wont really affect the coil. By the way we all learn one way or another. i started out without diy sessions. whack and try. and internet is a gd source of info u can rely on.

i heard from rae you can even put your IU under your seat if there's enough space. needs a bit of rewiring thou.

most of them are just placed on the flange supporting the mirror.

gd morning sexy people...haha

u mean putting at the handle issit???

lots of modern scoots put the IU beside the front tyre....not just un-sith's scoots....

Ejatt, i think Cephelix meant fixing a bracket on the handle bar (just behind the speedo) so that the IU can be mounted....

Cephelix, hiding it in your nose? how to?

then how do you take out the cashcash?

as for the horns, enclosing it will reduce the effect of the horns....most people put them near the spare tyre in front....not enclose but just not so obvious...

sharpey, great to see the order take off...would be waiting for your feedback on the exhaust!! I must save save save to get the exhaust...

Maz, are you considering the scorpion?

Mmmn am waiting for a response from beedspeed before I hand over the cash.. just finalising stuff....

Am thinking that there's a nice enclosed space where my spare tyre is now... and given that since I'm running tubeless I don't really need a spare tyre... might be an idea to mount some hella horns in there!

u mean the modern scoots?

as long as it can read...LTA wont bother you....

unless your IU cant read...then you will be receiving letters from them....

BTW, your total cost for the exhaust comes out to be how much?

the weight for the 200 exhaust is the same as 150 rite?

yeah...it may be possible. to think tt space can hold a 1L 2T bottle..an IU shouldn't be a prob. juz afraid the metal parts might interfere?

cephelix>> i doubt PX nose can squeeze i the IU. maybe a labbretta nose might? The IU's bulkier than you think. even if it fits...joints might break cos of vibration cos the nose's plastic.

my advice..juz take the unit off if u find it ugly. if you can't live w/o it or worried abt brushing with law...juz suck thumb and mount it at conventional places.

eyesore vs. practicalilty...it's your call.

Gweester, total cost is 660.244 SGD (the two pipes will weigh about the same)

yeah..the nose thing was just something i threw in.....

when are the smaller IUs coming out?

$660 total for the scorpion?not as ex as i thought.....

but still ex....

regarding the horns...i'm planning to move my spare tyre to the back...

so in front there'll be more leg rm.....

still thinking of places to fit the horns
