gwee gave a nice suggestion. LOL maybe if i go do up my wiring, i suggest to the mech to try to stash the IU INTO my glovebox... haha then wun look such an eye sore at the mirror bracket area.

Just wondering whether IU might work because its not conspicuously placed.... na dinside the glovebox... might all the wiring inside affects the IU??

Any comments from anyone who tried it b4?

Anyway mirror-wise, i'm used to having it around. Probably my kia-see nature.... Checking mirrors feels safer

I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend, to death, your right to say it.

i do have a used seat at TA....need to re-wrap....go check it out at TA....

the seat is those usual long one...ask mdm soh and say ah gwee's seat...dont noe whether it is sold or not....

planescape..the thingy about placing your IU in the glovebox is that it needs to be taken out to be read...

kinda troublesome....but for me....i seldom head down to town and pass thru gantry hence i am ok with taking it out to be read....so this has to be taken into consideration....

can be done but i suggest u have someone who has experience doin it to be beside you. u dont want to take any chances when it comes to engine' internals. its can be done in a jiffy if u are proficient with it

You don't need to change the piston (unless upon inspection you can see that it is heavily scratched on the sides [after a piston jam]) All you need to do is change the piston rings.... save yourself $80!!!!

yup u dont need to change ya piston.. normal u would if u jammed ya piston due to lack of 2t or etc... that would cause a massive scar on ya piston if ur really unlucky.

laundry powder??? careful it might be too harsh... using a human shampoo instead if u dont have a proper vehicle wash n wax shampoo

Come original, u gotta come original...

Hmm...loooks like i need my ITE mentor to be by my side while i'm changing my piston rings, will look out for deep scratches on my piston..Nowdays since i'm back to school studying automotive technology, suddenly my fingers become itchy...

hey guys.. i did the same as u all mention , changing from 95 to 92.. wah but then ytd i ride, sometimes i hear the pinging sound leh i tink.. like got ball bearing shaking in the cylinder like that.. especially when jus move off from gear 1, then change gear already n throttle again the pinging sound happen again, but its just for a moment and not say very loud.. i sld change back to 95? or wad can i do?

What is your setup? Do you have a Piansco or Malossi topend?

If changing back to 95 makes it go away, then you've solved the prob

i doubt its the fuel... cos unless ya bike is highly mod , u can take 92 petrol no sweat. i been using 92 with no prob all the while. might be ya clutch. why not u changed to 95 for a while to ease ya mind and see if the sound stops
