Fully synthetic is what you want.... which one you buy doesn't really matter.... The esso at lim ah boy for 13 and the esso at esso for 20 are the SAME.

A difference.... maybe yes maybe no... is there a diff between esso petrol and castrol petrol... maybe yes maybe no....

Once you're at that level of quality, I don't think there are any significant differences (other than those you imagine!)....

already broke one screw slot after the mechanic screw it wrongly.. sigh. now it rattles at a certain speed.

try use contact cement and glue it all back. might reqiure u to sorta 'tap' a new hole. but it'll hold after that. that's wat i did with my old head.

i saw off the bugger after it got stuck to the cover.. so its permanently 3 screw.. no big deal... the engine noise cover the rattles. heh

Got my vespa back. spend about $170++ including a service.

Havent been riding it for 3 weeks, really missed it:) After riding the big and heavy army yamaha bike for 1 week, coming back to vespa really feel its small, light and slow..haha.

auntie and uncle said india coil not so reliable, got someone changed to india coil and the next day coil spoilt again. Hope I wont be so unlucky... already had my vespa towed twice in less than 4 month... 1st for the clutch cable and then for coil...

all the best of luck to u wilson...

i have a qn for all those more knowlegable than me in scoot...

for the px 200, to remove the exhaust from the main body, all that is neeed is to detach the clamp from the threaded insert and remove the bolt from the top of the exhaust right???

anything else to remove??kos i'm planning to respray my exhaust but afraid that i'll wreck it during removal and installation

any special tools needed????

wilsonbb> Well that guy is lucky enuff to last a day. Previously the indian coil i used, failed almost immediately during the first kick.if it can last a week cross finger it will last for awhile. Carry a few cables with u. clutch cabels are notorious at snapping.plus jam nuts too. cos the chances that if it snap, the nut will get lost is high.

Cephelix> Eh u need a special tool. your HAND!! haha. joking. sometimes must open tyre.

maz > then pray i don't have to remove the tyre.....

pray that everybody's scoot is in good condition!

can you tell that i'm bored?

There are two bolts to remove... 1 where exhaust bolts to engine ehaust stub... the other is under the scoot where the exhaust bolts to the swingarm. You will need to let the air out of your rear tyre to be able to remove this second bolt... You shouldn't have to remove the wheel though (spare wheel yes though)....

well deflating the tyres is kindda new to me. i always remove the rear wheel. it easier removing 5 bolts then to ride/ pump a deflated tyre. hehe. to each their own way.

Hey maz... was asking Cephelix which manual asked for such a high pressure.... Haven't read that part obviously...

True that taking the rear wheel of might be less hassle.... But then you need to go through the haslte of laying the bike on its side (or against a wall) which always makes it hard to start after.... Oh well.... its all a hassle I guess, no matter which way you do it.

u could turn off ya petrol tap and let the engine runs until the leftovers petrol finishes before you lean the bike sideways.. it wont take long. after that, it be much easier to start

Come original, u gotta come original...

Pump as much as you reckon... there's no golden rule here... depends on your weight right....

True reddy, but its still not going to start after 1 or 2 kicks (mine won't anyhow).... Perhaps my fuel tap is faulty....

theres a technique on hot to remove the size 17 nut without deflating the tyre ... hard to describe here but u need a long screwdriver to do that .. maybe we discuss it in the near wkshop
