Think its 85 per tyre including rims... dun think they are chrome

hmmm okay, was thinking of getting one of those tubeless rims too but too bad thy are nt chrome...

The tubeless tyres are safer cos the air escapes slowly when puntured so in the case of punture while travelling at high speed, you will have a little more reaction time

if change to tubeless, that means we won't need spare tyres anymore right? so can we convert that space to a box or something to put barang barang?

haha, cool then can have more compartments to store stuff :)

think TA jus got machine to instore tubeless tyres but they don't have the 'desired' (stronger) tubeless tyres here yet. the normal ones - rims get bend easily and once it's bent it's gone!

anyway, tubeless wheels cost $85 and it's preinstalled with Ching Shin tyre , anyone knows how much will it cost to change from Ching Shin to a battalax?

??

either tubed or tubeless, it will be better to keep spare tyre with u. Otherwise for every puncture u encounter (choy!), u will be calling in the tow..or a good friend who will bring u a spare tyre =)

you can still convert the side cowl to a box to have more storage, but have the spare tyre place elsewhere. For example at the front legshield or install a rear rack for the tyre

you could always chrome the tubeless rims yourself......

and if the paint job turns out amazing, i might consider doing it too...

-= Unsure of what to get=-

If you go tubeless you can buy a temp. repair kit... this means you don't need to carry a spare.

changing the tyre on the tubeless rims should cost an extra $15 or so on top of the cost of the tyre. The trick is whether or not the rim will hold air properly after having the tyre changed. So far i've experienced 50/50 work/failure with them. But for $85 new, I'm not complaining... and the Chengshin tyre they come with is actually pretty decent.

wouldn't the new machine that TA has help to minimise error when changing the tyres? isn't that what the machine's for?
