For my point of view petrol is not an issue, using good 2t allow u to feel the difference....in terms of throttle response..

here i am ... like chipsmore cookies ..... now u see me, now u dunt ... but love to keep the classic thread going ... guess the topic is abt petrol/2T huh .... from my experience ... best petrol Shell 92 and Shell cheapest 2T ... its the best and smoothes combinations ...

thers lots of factors that contribute to petrol consumption .. like carb size (20/20 or 24/24 or 26/26), main jets (118,120.125,130), piston size, cylinder use, vespa structure,exhaust type,even the type of spark plug use (cold or hot) and the list will go on n on n on ...

rule of thumb : the faster ur vespa go, the more petrol consumption ... road or race ?

wah, 92 + cheapest 2T best combi? serious? my make cant do with that man. I think will definitely increase wear and tear.

hi ... me waiting for ur call leh yday ... anyway,its was raining but overall turnout was quite good ... lots of auto scooters and vespa was there ... when will we held a scooter meet ups ...

 

bout the 2T n petrol, yup .... all vespa can take it lah .. no prob ... if cannot then something not right as our engine and carbs was desing for old petrol... Vpower will increase the wear n tear ... we meet up lah then can talk bout engine ... or u can join me ... once in a while i'll hang ard in front of orchard perade hotel ( starbucks) ... can park at the pavements untill the cops arrive but usually no prob hanging ard there ....

I remember seeing a pair of vespas parked there some time back... very cool scoots... does yours have some chrome accessories installed?

think we dun mention vespa lah .. we call it scoot meet up ... more universal .. so those riding ET8, skipper, gilera, joker can join also .. we r all in the same family ...

ya,.... all can go, but for our side, in this particular thread, we help to gather true vespa riders, then we'll combine with the main body. Gilera and etc i think they will start with their own thread i guess.

 

For this list is simply helping to get hold all vespas together, then add on to the main scoot body... cheers
