running IU direct frm rectifier may not work even though u throttle thru. my friend did it on his XR4 and got LTA notice few days later.

welding?isn't it done via screws?

depends on what u prefer...

 

what wiring you want to do? there's welding/screwing/stick-on... either way will damage the paint

if any wires behind the nose needs to be changed..then spoil paintjob....

but if screw less damaging right?but less chio also...

im baaaaaack guys .. kinda bz these days .... browse through this thread ... well im no expert in vespa ... but maybe i can answer to some of ur question bout vespa repairs, service etc etc .... if u all want ... im thinkin of doing a small Q n A meet up .... we fix a date for feb 2007 .... its like a workshop ... i'll guide those who come on the basics of vespa like change clutch cable, brake, adjust biting point ... carb tuning ... some wiring trouble shooting etc etc .... i'll be in thailand till wednesday ... i'll be back

i think u do not need to remove the nose to do wirings...u juz need to remove the horn and do frm tt tiny hole. same was as those classic heads. work thru that tiny space where the headlight/meter is.

 

besides..there's only 2 wires there.
