Thanks for the discussions, I am using stock tyres, it is ok. Shop was telling me balding soon good for another 5k.

Seems like PR2 is the way to go, any advise on location to purchase this wonderful tryes?

I made a mistake on my price quoted on my servicing, pai sei. Got it serviced at Loois.

1. Brake pads Original pads - $255 ()

2. Oil Synthetic Racing Oil - $72

3. Oil Filter - $20

TOTAL: $347

Does the $255 includes cleaning of the brake calipers and pistons?

if not, just consider it lesson learn.

But self assured that you are running one of the better brake pads out in the market.

Why you use so much EO? It should be 3L without oil filter,3.1L with oil filter change.I use only 3L with oil filter change.

As for the air filter, try DNA,the dimension is bigger than K&N.

Here is the comparison of K&N and OEM air filter,

If you want K&N,let me know.Sell you cheap, cheap.

Hi, guys,

Can I ask where (which motor-shop) do you guys normally go for the servicing of your viffers?

Any trusted mechanics to recommend??

After my trusted mechanic at Bukit Merah Lane went back to JB to open his own motor-shop, I am not sure which mechanic can be trusted with the servicing.

By the way, I am staying near Queensway Shopping Center. So any shop/mechanic to recommend at Bukit Merah Lane??

Ah Keong at HKL??? :)

Ah Keong or Ah Jiang.... Just mention the malay guy riding the Red Blackbird & Black Viffer and they'll know it's me. They're the guys I trust with my bike.

Hey guys, just wondering if you all have any particular brands or type of brake pads when you all change?

Refering to normal sinistered grade, not those better grades for track use where the effectiveness of the brake will only come in at the higher temp range to prevent brake fade.

Well, so far all my other bikes had been using gold fren/daytona or what ever the mechanic i go have lar. I only use normal grade of sinistered pads, since i only use my bike mainly for commuting but strangely my mileage for my viffer is not even 3000k every 3 mths when its time to change my EO and filter haha.
