yep. That is my intention! :)

For the time being I just wanted to ride it so I left the fairings on. I'm searching for a cheap spare screen which I can trip so that the bars don't hit it.

Not sure exactly. I switched to super 4 bars last Fri. The bike actually feels much better with these narrower bars than with the MX bars. Due to the leverage and position of the mx bars I found the bike steers way too fast with just a slight push on the bars and it's a little scary. Anyway, I'll post another pic soon. The riding position is so much more comfortable now. :thumb:

I've been getting quite a number of interesting looks from super-4 riders on the roads.

:p

I think it would have been better if I could have had the bars mounted in the forward mounting position (the bar clamps can be reversed) but this was unable to be done due to the top of the fork adjusters hitting the bottom section of the wide MX bar. If I really want to fit the MX bars I will have to refabricate the barmounts... should be pretty easy due to the way they mount to the new tripple clamp unit. Anyway, if I did this I would go for oversize mounts for a fatbar.

With the super-4 bar it bends up straight after the end of the clamp and therefore clears the adjusters. This bar is still a tiny bit narrow and I still have some clearance issues with the brake master pump brake light connections (wiring) and the fork adjusters. Hoping to get ever so slightly wider bars in alloy but hopefully with a similar bend to the current super-4 unit.

Honestly I think that the super 4 style bar is much more suitable than the MX bar though it doesn't look/feel as "tough". The bike feels very similar to the original feeling just more comfortable. With the MX bars it feels VERY different.

Hi, if you have a PC, it would be good to go for tuning else nothing much can be done.

Fellow brothers correct me if i am wrong.

there wont be a huge gain in power if u only change the end can.. but if u have a PC to go along, then tuning it will definitely help...
