Hi guys, I changed Arrow end can for my 929 a couple of months ago, however the performance of the bike seem drop compared to stock end can, especially the response of the throttle is delay for a few seconds. The cone shape had been chopped off from the midpipe, I was told to do so but the problem still exists….any advice on that?

Basically once you change the pressure on either side of the engine (intake or exhaust) you need to remap the fuel profile (EFi). For the 929/954 this can only be done if you have an aftermarket EFi system (PCIII) and it's best done on a dyno. Usually more free flowing exhausts will give you a gain at the top end (total BHP) but a reduction in torque or rideability.

thanks for advice, however those experts said there is no need to remap/turning the EFI system and PCIII is also not required if only changing the end can. so wat the experts said was not right...

Yup…The torque is tremendous drop after I changing the end can….:(
