In fact, I'm thinking this way:

 

9/Aug (thurs): Cameron highlands

10/Aug (fri): Cameron/Malacca

11/Aug (sat): Return Singapore (by late PM)

Actually there's a way to get those rambutans on the trees. We should have brought some nylon strings & tie to a rock or stick & throw at the branches; then pull the branches down. The rambutan branches are very brittle & snap easily. :smile:

hi guys.. im getting a boldor soon.. wanna get the best deal.. any of u ppls have a shop dats offering a gd price??? the best ive gotten so far was $13300.. a shop at yishun.. its including coe, road tax & insurance.. will be waiting for ure recommendations...

Damn, I just went to Cameron Highlands 2 weeks ago, but on 4 wheels. Any one else planning any other destination? Maybe a little closer? Would love to spend the long weekend on 2 wheels...

Boon Siew actually quoted me 14852.92 OTR with 1st party & all the above... but then again.. they told me that sales of S4SB wasn't very good.. thanks dude!!!

Me also looking for that higher wind screen.

Did ask motoworld, they said need to custom made & need the original wind screen for few days to do measurement.

if it cost less than $200, i'll be definitely interested too. I think its costly to custom make just 1 wind shield - they have to fabricate the mould for just 1 person. :smile:

hi guys,

 

got something to ask, do u all encounter noise or rough feeling from front brake when braking? I've been riding my bike for a month, is it normal?

 

oh wondering if cb1300sb stock wind screen able to fix onto our bike,its looks better then ours, got a bit more shape,but not tall enough.

 

below is aftermkt wind screen for CB1300SB,still searching online for S4SB windscreen will update if find one.

from that webpage, it seems to be only 4 inch taller only. Actually i would prefer at least 8 inch taller than my stock. I think a custom made wind shield is the only solution. But my budget is

In case there are people here asking why such a tall wind shield, coz when travelling above 150km/hr, the wind blast is tremenduous, you can feel alot of wind resistance on yr chest at that speed.

I jus change my air filter to K&N yesterday myself (DIY)

 

cost me $101, is it expensive or good deal...

 

first time do it myself... but it is fun..

 

now i wait to see whether is there any improvement in KM/L ....

 

and i noted that K&N filter have a problem with washing...

 

it have to let it dry by itself... before able to oil...

 

mean i cannot ride my bike for one day(wait for it to dry) if i don buy extra filter...

 

mean i have to keep my old oem filter to use for the one day for the filter to dry and oil it...

I tot K&N air filter for Super 4 is ard $70 plus - $80 plus range from the Components listing . ?

Actually it good to keep ur OEM filter spare , so when u wash wash your K&N u can still use the OEM filter for a day or two .
