hi guys.. just wanna share some inputs on revo fc..

been riding my revo for about 4 months already.. mileage reaching 8k

so far been hitting 300km before 'disco lights' or reserve.. been wacking my bike

around 100 and above on tpe to work from yishun.. and i think revo is more

fuel effiicent from spec 3 coz we have 4L reserve where else spec 3 has 3L reserve. althought spec 3 and revo can hit 300 before reserve. 300km/14L and

300km/15L.. u do the maths.. upzzz for Revo!!! just my inputs.. no hard feelings to anyone... btw.. i have been calculating this since after my run-in finish... about 10 full tanks...

if u wanna know the fc between spec 3 n revo, read the manual, extract the part which states the fc when travelling at 60km/h. then u'll know which one is fuel economy.

I am surprised that our Revo able to attain 31km/litres with only 60km/h.... Which a 558km with a full tank including reserve... haha... but who wanna ride a performance bike at 60km/h... hahaha... not worth of my 13k.. but still i ride only 80km/h most of the time but yet i get only 250km till reserve.. so much different in petrol mileage but little different in speed... felt kena cheated by the magazine .... Motor Culture... But

I hoping for the best that the mileage would be better in the future especially after my running in....

the high lighted portion shd b from the manual. all manual will state the machine's fuel consumption.

Hi guys, im so excited to get Revo.. yest me n my fren went to recee around for prices n Bi** Pr****** seemed to quote me a price of 11.8 K OTR??? im 22 this year. Other Bike Shops are quoting atleast 12.8 K excludin insurance?

 

Is there any hidden things tat i shud take note off? Or issit because i n my fren are buyin one bike each tat we got a gd quotation? I kno its my fault tat i neva asked much questions as i was too stunned.

 

Kindly give me ur advice cos im sooo in love with Revo ... Thank you.

Probably you will only know the full price before you sign the agreement form.

of cos. S4 is always faster than a gsr. spec 3 can win gsr already. n revo pickup is faster than spec 3, wat do u think?

alternatively u can bid for 3 or 2 or 1 number i guess.. if i am not wrong its 1300 starting bid.. u can bid 1300 and most likely u will get it if there is no one else fighting for it..for eg u like number 299, u bid 1300 or slightly higher, then if there is no one else bidding for it, u win and get the number plate, but if there is a higher bid, then u will not get it..as for the bidding i not too sure, u can go to a bike shop u are close with to help u with it or u can check/ call LTA to find out more.. for more common number that everybody one eg. 8, 88, 888, 8888, 1,11, 111,1111, those favourite number, be prepared to fork out a lot more...

Bro, long time nvr see you... actually minimum bid is $1000. FBD series already out. If i'm not wrong it had already went thru 2 rounds of bidding. You are right that single digit and repeated nos have to bid higher and also has to depend on luck too.

$11.8k OTR. Ask COE based on how much, then have to top up after bidding. COE is $1551 now if i'm not wrong. If u wan agent bike plus $500. $340 forgot what fee, IU $165, $200/yr charge (in exchange of no early settlement fee). 4% interest per year. That's all.

not necessary but most new bikes with installments are recommended to get..

 

but one particular shop offer low OTR price and when my friend ask for detail... the insurance quoted was only 3rd party..

some shops throw in alot of goodies while some shops nv give anything, so there might be a price difference, for me i prefer to have goodies install so i no need to worry about anything

nvr try the bike. on junction, it simply pulls away frm a gsr. pick up real fast. can't even give chase. shd wait for the revo. gsr is damn slow.

240 shd'nt be any problem this round. (X fingers, still looking for improvement)

 

Mechanic wans to KIV checking till my 1st EO change.

 

Btw, wads to change on first 1000km , just EO or Oil filter as well?

Secondly, not sure if my bike shop have MAXIMA EO, anywhere to recommend on getting reasonable price MAXIMA?

 

Recently get a set of alarm, anyone tried DIY on yr revo already? Or any recommendation XD
