when's the tp date for you guys?

i just enrolled today and got a test date on 5th Feb, quite lucky

the earliest test date was suppose to be march 14th...

guess someone dropped his tp and i kio tio

haha dancho i also same situation as u! and same testdate too! so i'll be seeing you on 5 feb unless i also dun meet the requirement before 22/01/08 haha...which is also highly likely sia...

just took my 1.01 alone...

keep getting scolding cos too much bad habits and i'm the only student..

haha

muz hurry finish up the lessons if not jialat ah..

going for 2.01 on next thurs, 17/01, will it be too late? haha

hmmm i tink abit rush leh cuz u have to complete a theory lesson + 3.01 two weeks before ur test date...which is 22/01/08 lor...if u 17/01 take 2.01 (and pass of cuz haha), means u have less than 5 days to pass 3.01 leh...got confidence ma?

i thought so too, right after posting...

so changed it to tues straight away haha

hopefully can finish everything by next fri

 

i book my theory lesson this sunday

 

many pple say that there's no need to take theory lesson

but after my 1.01, the instructor even remind me to take the theory lesson..

so i guess it's better to play safe

 

is 3.01 timeslots available very limited??

nope...alot from wat i can see...haha...and yea theory mus clear or else cant go for tp test...u reach 3.01 tell me k...if i havent pass yet can take tog... :)

yea! i just cleared it this afternoon...woo hoo! so far i have taken every lesson exactly TWICE man. tsk tsk i'm such a lousy rider...hopefully TP wont have the same jinx haha! :D btw donghai also passed...all lessons first try! rawrrr...

i had my 3.01 2nd time just now... and i kena neutral gear at crank course... right leg come down to kick 1st gear. immediate failure.. sian...

aiyo kitty...wasted sia! :giddy: i kena neutral many times before esp at pylon, s course n crank course so everytime i do these courses i will make sure i push it up allllllllll the way...suay suay still neutral den while the bike still got momentum i will faster kick from neutral to 2nd...

 

niwae rite, my second 3.01 ebrake tt time my left leg came down den my bike going to peng liao so my right leg came down to stabilize...i tot immed failure leh cuz my first 3.01 instructor said right leg down is immed failure...den the rest of the route super sian liao...but in the end only kena points so now i'm confused...apparently its ok leh...

 

 

and u finally come into tis thread! yay! :cool:

haha my 1.01 twice, 2.01 twice, 3.01 also twice...yea pass 3.01 le lor...eh i brought my TP forward to 31 Jan leh...faster pass ur 3.01 then book! now those pple who din pass the 3.01/take theory tio cancel testdate ah...

think e instructor nv see your right leg coming down..

 

he saw...and still raise his eyebrow at me...haha...on the assessment paper he write at the ebrake section - incorrect posture: right leg/not firm...

 

donghai said his fren also tio right leg and also kena points leh...so i tink maybe my first 3.01 instructor trying to force a ideal ebrake ba...

 

when i go rc i'll ask again n update k!

I took my Class 2A today (Jan 31, 07) and I passed.

 

There were 80 people during the Class 2/2A test this morning but only 74 were present. I must say that the testers were lenient because 63 out of the 74 passed. Only 11 people failed.

 

I had 2 points deducted. It's not that I am good because I think I am incredibly wobbly and lacking in self-confidence generally. I think it's because it's the Chinese New Year period so the testers are less strict, and also because they are generally more relaxed since everyone taking the test is a qualified rider.

hey bariumoxide, donghai and i took the Class 2A test today (Jan 31, 2007) and passed too :D

 

i thought i saw 88 pple registered...u saw 80? but yea the testers were lenient...think they are more focused on safety checks than anything else...no immed failures = high chance of passing as they always say...the testers seemed to be in a good mood today too! while i was doing the final right turn, the ebrake tester had no one else left to oversee so he looked at us lining up at the stop line and smiled like really widely... :D

 

i had 10 points deducted, of which 8 came from courses cuz i didnt feel confident enough to open throttle. 2 for delay in moving off but i have absolutely no clue where that came from. already prepared beforehand to let them give points instead of immed failures so not bad lah haha it went according to plan. think i deserved more though, to be honest. i was really wobbly too n i did a wide turn exiting s course. oops! =x

 

i tink in general 2/2a testees fair reasonably well...80-90% passing rate i suppose...good luck everyone else who's taking / will take it!

 

i MIGHT be back for cl2! :D see how!

For BBDC at least, it is impossible for the tester or anyone to tell whether the Class 2A bikes have reached the 40km/h requirement for emergency brake. The Super 4 is not fitted with the lamp that lights up once a certain speed is reached, unlike the Class 2B bike.

 

So there's no need to hit 40km/h. Perhaps 38km/h is fine enough. Just stop the bike somewhere between the red line and white line.
