Simple.. spend $50 on an original Givi wingrack instead of the cheaper "thin piece of metal kind". The original wingrack dont need to remove the pillon handle grip to be installed. The buzz sound is normal.

great, thanks alot, i think mine's the original too, but then, the prev owner didnt give me. btw, did u install a pillon backrest?? if u did, how much it cost?

ok thks man. here like only u and me posting haha. actually wat is real capacity of the fuel tank man.... can't seem to pump more than 3.6 at one go. is a very impt factor in calculating FC man....

Wave I's hard specs mentioned 3.8 or 3.9L of fuel capacity, but trust me, even if you run the bike until the engine dies (twice it happened to me), you still cannot pump in 3.8L.....there's bound to be residuel fuel that cannot be suck into the ignition system.

I ask my thai friend abt it and he told me it might be something to do with the sensor. he then suggested i bring it to the honda agent for a check.. but boon siew dont do bikes not brought in by them. so lan lan lor. as long as it doesnt interfer with normal operation just ride lor.

I also ask him how to tune the efi to remove the powercut, according to him, he say bring the bike to a car shop that does honda cars. cos honda cars also uses pgm-fi.

at least thats what they do in thailand. But he also suggest i dont do it cause it might scew up the bike over time. just relax and enjoy the great fc!

Hello.. I feel very tempted to buy wave-i. Being a student, every cent counts and I am impressed by the 60km/l FC. Hope you guys can help answer my qns below:

1)Can I get a 2nd hand wave-i for less than 2K?

2)Is the maintainance (engine oil, etc) more expensive than wave s/r?

Finally, anyone planning to sell your wave-I?

2K must try your luck.. around 2.2k-2.6k can get. but note its only machine price.

Engine oil and spark plug is exactly the same as s/r. But no washing and tuning of the carb. so you save on that.

But be warn.. there is a powercut on the wave-i at abt 110km/h-120km/h.

Thanks for the complement.. wave-i must walk around bike shops and find... not easy to find.. but i have seen a few these few years.

Try putting an ad in classifieds or garage sales. mine is not for sale hehe.

Flash how many times?

PM, i try to help u find out.

yo bro, u have the solution or the root of the problem??

uh! i also go yishun often! maybe fiz saw my bike? my basket is in the center one... plus 2 x hello kitty sticker at the front! and new racing boy sport rims! haha...

anyway, wave-i is pretty rare i think, i've only seen 4 on the road so far, excluding mine and silversurfer's, which i havent seen. i'm sure a wave-i is worth at least 2k. fyi, i got mine from SBF classified, by exchanging my NSR150SP. i think its a good deal and fair trade, i'd say, at least. (dunno if she's reading this, hello to u if u are :D )

wave-i got powercut, yes, but if u wanna go so fast, then don't get a wave. u'll only spoil it. but u need to get used to the speed, and it takes alot of time and patience.

silversurfer, is your horn and electric starter button yellow in color??
