Went to Kang Soon a few times. They r closed on Sundays.

I wanted to buy the autoclutch full set for spark Z. Dey quoted me RM125 for a local set. Is dat ok?

Learned alot of things!

Next week im planning a run to skudai to get the dope shirt and bags.

I agree that ngk g power platinum plugs are worth the money over the iridiums!

 

I would like to give some "suggestions"!

1. Are you able to run O or X ring chains? They would last alot longer.

2. I realise you have been doing alot of "internal works".. have you considered using better grade oils?

Try an ester based oil! They dont have to be expensive. Silkolene comp 4t 15w40 goes at $12 at chong aik(their website says its ester based but not the bottle). If you like 15w40 HDEO, you can try mobil delvac or chevron delo. Its about $5/L

3. Do you lubricate your throttle cable?

4.You seem to be blowing some headlight bulbs.. try replacing your rectifier.. Sometimes a faulty rectifier shows only during extreme stress. Im sure you dont "finger print" them

5. You seem to change fork oil often.. is it because of the seals? If its the seals you can diy a "Seal Mate" then use a neoprene fork cover to prevent contamination.

6. Chevron concentrated cleaner works very minimally if you see the videos uploaded in youtube.

7. Ive tried so many brands of brake fluid. My favourite is ATE brake fluid.

8. If you like detailing your bike, you can try autoglym super resin polish. Apply a wax on top after you have polished.

Unnecessary. Yamaha spark Z imported from Thailand and it comes with chain cover box. By using original RK set it lasts till 28,000km to 32,000km life span . This is enough for RM65 spent

The gearbox not built with highest quality so consider using shell HDEO actually helped a lot and prolong the life span. While the upper block has bad designs I suppose. The rocker valve arm actually had been corrected for later models and I have fixed into mine recently.

not cause of rectifier. I using STANLEY bulb and after 2 years u notice it become dull and getting dark . So after 2 years or more I just change the headlight bulbs. It gets worn out cause we running day and night auto open lights.

I change fork oil is part of maintenance routine. Every two years must change fork oil. it gets oxidaised. Also fork oil only last 3-4 years shelf life.

I love 10W suspension from RED LINE company.

my seals never got broken for more then 11 years

it does not matter. I love Caltex techron and it has saved me a lot of mileage and money. Also Caltex make sure they change and renovate the underneath bunk every ten years. I am getting clean petrol .

mine is Mobil bought from esso station in spore Thomson road. Mobil indicates the manufacturing date and says it expires after 3 years.

pls guide how it helps by cleaning with alcohol or water or petrol

or change new ?

how much is rectifier?

 

can it be brighten up the bulbs. hahahaha mine wven with new bulb and battey still dim

serviced disc brake caliper, greased pennzoil red grease wheel bearing.

flushed brake fluid dot 4 CALTEX

 

found oil leaking at bottom engine.

changed gear lever oil seal. now OK

 

adjust valve clearance tappet at cold valve intake / valve exhaust

IN 0.08mm EX 0.10mm

 

adjust chain tightening

 

rear wheel kikiki sound,

cleaned hub and drum, greased moving parts. adjust appropriate linear.

 

tested electric rectifier efficiency. Good.
