i've been riding my x1 for 1 yr, but its second hand. so theoritically speaking, its a 2 yr old bike. same problem with yours. but after tuning, its okay. then it will auto be low again. then now okay already although i nv adjust anything. and i have the same loose plastic cover sound also.but that problem existed when i bought the bike, second hand as the previous owner has self diy the coverset so for mine, i suspect previous owner didn't fix it properly. im intending to change coverset so hopefully the problem will be solved when i do so.

 

as for the vibration, mine also happen recently after 1 yr of riding. but however, it only happens in daytime. night time, it doesnt happen at all. i don't know why also.

 

in terms of oil, do u mean engine oil or daily petrol?

for my x1, engine oil = fully synthetic.

petrol = caltex 98 / esso 98.

The loose plastic sound happen only after i went to service the bike. The mechanic took out everthing and i suspect he didn't put it back properly too. BUt when i went back to the same shop, another guy just said this will happen after awhile and can't be fixed. The sound just kinda irritates me when i'm riding. BUt then again i think my bike's vibration is really strong. Even my pillions say they feel like they're on a massage chair. haha..

 

I was refering to engine oil. I will just go to the shop and ask for the cheapest. Dun really know which is good.

hmm, if that's the case, i really think it's because they didn't put it back properly. and i don't think if you ask them to remove and fix back the coverset again, they'll do it. so the only solution is for you to remove the coverset yourself? heehee.

currently, my vibration is only strong in the morning when i go to work. maybe because i don't warm up the bike properly. at night, it's very smooth.

but anyway, my best friend told me her bike has very bad vibration too. could also possibly because her bike is a little older than mine, plate FY. anyway, i think should go for servicing if the vibration is bad.

 

for engine oil, the fully synthetic castrol i used is $20. because i dnt wish to compromise my bike situation, so i rather fork out a little more for better engine oil. so far have been using it for a whole year.

Coz I turning right into the carpark den de car langgar me(dis is wat de ppl arnd me said)..bo bian bah..i cannot rmb anythin at all..den my IO oso abit f up..me n my pillion went into de rm den sit down str8 away he say u r de guilty 1..kns..aft dat i no mood 2 talk already so i jus kept quiet..den my pillion asked him 2 do further investigation..he said can..aft dat i sure tio go court + license revoked..rly damn dulan lor..best is he said..luckily only u n ur pillion injured or else de matter sure bring go court le..haish..dis mth i rly very suay..haha
