1) 8 Dec 2008 is Hari Raya Haji, is a Monday Public Holiday... (No need to take leave, it will be a 3 day break.)

 

2) 25 Dec 2008 is Xmas, a Thursday Public Holiday... (Need to take 1 day leave on Friday to make it a 4 day break.)

 

Guys, who is interested to complete their conquest of the 3 Highlands of Malaysia then? I am thinking Genting?!? No need to take leave then, we leave on Sat morning and be back by Mon evening, 3D2N trip.

4wd.....17inches falken tyres.....shld be gd in cornering....boss u need full anti-roll bars for ur car...front, rear and under carriage.....1 set of tein coilovers....u will fly in the corners.....

 

How to play corners with all the passengers and luggages in the boot? I don't want them to puke in my car leh like Icez...

Car no power leh, I only use like 3.5 - 4k RPM nia while cornering...

 

I believe WRXs and Evos will be more fun to drive around the corners...

I checked Tune Hotel liao, for 3 nights from 25th Dec to 28th Dec, about RM$251 nia...

 

About SGD $36 per night for double room.

 

Which figures to about SGD $18 per night per bed per person...

So far i know, that's e cheapest hotel in KL..:thumb: but of course must book in advance..n fyi..everything u want to add-on, u have to pay..e.g: air-con, have to add few RM.. etc...so check with them first :goodluck:

 

For coach to Genting, I can check the price at Gombak LRT station. Its cheaper to buy there, it's a day ticket..coach plus the theme park ticket. or if want easier, can go to puduraya or KL central.

Expenses incurred for Cameron Highland driving my Impreza for 1400km:

 

NSH Toll: RM$166.40

Petrol: RM$383.60 (142 litres x RM2.70, FC 10km/litre)

SG Custom Toll: SGD$9.20

 

Total SGD$242.00

 

Divide by 4 person: SGD$60.50 each

 

I changed SGD$100 worth of RM for expenses, plus SGD$30 for the apartment, won some s-ucker's SGD$27 at mahjong. (You know who you are.)

So I just spent $163.50 SGD for the trip.

Everyone chipped in RM$150.00 each to make a total of RM$600.00

 

Specially appointed Accountant, Mr Spyker is responsible for holding this lump.

 

This lump is only used for Toll and Petrol. After the whole trip, we still had RM$104.00 left.

 

NSH Toll: RM$166.40

Petrol: RM$329.60 (122.07 litres x RM2.70, FC 11.13km/litre)

SG Custom Toll: Waived courtesy of Good In-Car-Entertainment

Apartment Cost: S$30.00 per pax

 

Total Cost per pax for this trip (Excl personal expenditure): S$82.10

Tiko-Rico the Ah long just note down the amount spent on toll and petrol.

 

This lump is only used for Malaysian Toll and Petrol. After the whole trip, we still had around RM$30.00 left.

 

NSH Toll: RM$167

Petrol: RM$304 (113 litres x RM2.70, FC 13.5km/litre)

SG Custom Toll: SGD$5.30

 

Total SGD$205.30

 

Divide by 2 couple: SGD$102.65 each couple

 

Add in apartment cost of $30/pax: $81.30 per pax for this trip (Excl personal expenditure)

Still left with around $50RM + andrew still own me 50RM

 

NSH Toll: RM$3.20

Petrol: RM$225 (1250km/15 = 84litre * 2.70rm = 225RM FC 15km/litre)

SG Custom Toll: SGD$1.40

 

Total SGD$98.05

 

Divide by 2 person: SGD$49 each but in the end still i pay for all :weep:

 

Add in apartment cost of $30/pax: $79 per psrson but i also pay for both

 

So total spending is around $350 including apartment :giddy: nv buy much stuff, wonder where i spend all the money sia
