I just lost my handguard this morning..lucky not the whole handguard but just the black coloured plastic with the word acerbis on it. and only one side of it.

 

So for those staying in Tampines, please watch out!!

 

Last 3 yrs, when I rode my WR, same thing happened..ask the police to patrol frequently yet F*** things still happened in less than a month somemore...

 

I hope this would be my last and final agony for riding scrambler.

 

Although I've been cursing the thief/thieves since morning but i don't know if the curse will work...Do u think the thief will get his/her retributions?I doubt so...if they get their retribution, i don't think there'll be any theft in this world, hence no retribution makes their 'job' easy. If yes, how many of them?1 out of 10?

 

MAY the theif/thieves SUFFER in his/her life forever!! MAY he/she lives as a beggar throughout his/her life and never achieve anything nor getting any thing for himself/herself!! Amin!! x10000000000000000

Hey bro - sorry to hear about the theft of your handguard. Didn't the bike alarm sound when the theft happened?

 

I bet a few of the people here can share that su*ky feeling about losing things through theft (Manz & Draught - bike covers; Allan82 - Micron baffler; Whisperer - personal stuff in a snatch-run case; Bluesky - helmet; Chilli - her entire Harley!).

 

A good way to reduce tendency of theft on your bike is to cover it. Spray you number on the bike cover. Con't to report cases to the police - and hopefully the authorities will step up preventive measures.

dont think they will fix, cause the amount you lose would not be greater than the amount they pay to setup the cctv, unless it is the whole bikes or cars that is always missing

bro, try fixing on the plastic to the metal bar with epoxy, if they remove nut still cannot take out. Stole one side prob cuz buang on that side...

den no need waste money, just use cardboard make a CCTV outer casing, use doubleside tape stick on the wall "aiming" at your bike, den use printer print out one fake notice say "area under camera survellience", stick somewhere prominent also! that ought to reduce some unhealthy habits!

 

i always wonder those mscp with CCTV, where are they connected to? The local RC office? wonder if they even bother recording...

bro, photo's not bad, seems abit blurry on the middle part of the moon though, might be due to either prolonged exposure or shaky camera tripod. i found out night shots can be blurred also even with tripod, especially when taking photos off a bridge, due to the tiny tiny vibrations when cars go past!

 

Tried moon shots before, but wasn't using zoom, so exposure became too long became one bright dot, can't really see the surface texture of the moon:cheeky:

Cover your bike bro with not just one but two bike covers and then lock the covers.. Scrams parts are easier to *take*... and of course do what the police recommmends,

 

1) Park in a well-lit area

2) Ensure your bike ignition key is removed from the bike

3) Cover your bike

4) Lock your brake discs for extra protection

 

Well, these are the above precautionary measures the police recommends but ultimately, its still the small parts that get 'stunt' instead. Dun worry, what goes around comes around and the vicious cycle carries on.. May unthoughtful tragedies happen to those who cause others to suffer..

 

talk abt parking in brightly lit areas, i think the bikers involved in the hugh bikes massacre at bukit panjang a few days ago really bang balls, pity them sia... i saw the photos, fire was so bad everything non metal was burnt to ashes, including the tyres!

I wonder if they could install CCTV..I asked the police to check for finger print just now...I think i wanna write to RC if they could install CCTV...I think there are alot of cases in this mscp already..if biker's request is hard to fulfill, then until one day few drivers lost their rims/wheels, then i think they'll start to install one..
