Actually I am wondering if this is gonna be a standard practice for only ESR thread or for ALL sub-group thread. If it is for the latter, I dun see any other sub-group thread being restarted to page 1.

 

The last page in ESR was only 398 whilst in AMK thread its over 400++. Not to point fingers in any direction but I hope to observe standardization for all sub-groups(that are still active of course).

 

This is point no 1, and below is point no 2 which comes with a suggestion.

 

IMHO, 300++ pages is not considered a lot and to suddenly cut off the previous pages can be quite shocking. I dun mind the archiving thingy but can the archiving be done on say March or April rather than with immediate effect. This allows the forumers time to move on and transit smoothly without any feeling of loss of belonging and such. It feels like suddenly your memories for yesterday is totally gone and the feeling really sucks.

 

Well, ultimately its the mod that have the final say, the above is just my mere sentiments and 2cents worth of suggestion.

 

All in all, I wish everyone here and in the forum a Happy New Year's day..

 

Interesting obeservation. I share the same sendiments with Manzz as well.

i have got some bad or maybe good news... i just opt out from ocs considering all the pros and cons. partly because of missing my family, bike, friends and gf. abit wasted la that i've gone through 3 months plus already. but i guess there's more sacrifices to make and i feel i can't commit to it full heartedly. anyway, now waiting for another posting. i guess i leave with no regrets as i have learnt a lot from there. :cry: :thumb: more time for my blackie! yeah!!!

Bro! Sorry to hear that you are opting out, initially I gave you this idea one...

 

To be a cut above the rest really not easy, I know...

 

That's why everytime I see you, I will ask you how is it going...

 

Nevermind, see everything in a brighter perspective. Maybe you will have a brighter future doing something else. who knows really.

sorry to hear dat shrek. but i was abit different from wad u tot the last time when i was in army....i chiong all the way in bmt coz i wanna sign on officer. in the end i was amongst those who are eligible for ocs. i even went for lasik surgery b4 i enter army juz for dat......but when the day comes for our posting, i was not selected, in fact its those who haf a deg got selected instead. i was freaking mad coz those deg holders dun even perform dat well.... knn....from den on i said to myself dats it! army sux big time!! they see paper qualities more den our qualities...so i decided to drop the idea... was latter posted to dog unit in air force and i enjoyed the rest of my NS days there rather!!! haha.. ya..... all i can say is wasted la coz not many got the chance to go ocs also......but then again its ur own decisions...... enjoy wad u re given now liao.....=)
