This is my opinion:

The Maxima Chain Wax isn't a paste-like substance. It is actually liquid, but high viscousity. This property enables it to penetrate into the O-rings when applied. High viscousity of Maxima Chain-wax enables moving parts to function with less friction and endure longer on the surface than chain-lubes. Hence, it causes less flings.

 

Now that i have used both Maxima lube and wax, I find that both attract road dirt; lube being easier to clean off. Other than that, both still make the bike dirty.

 

I find Wax is better because when freshly applied, it doesn't fling at all. It also last longer than lube. When comes to cleaning, the duration and effort to clean is almost the same. However, for lube, each time I apply it - even I left the bike over-nite and ride it the next day - the oil flung - wasting all my efforts of cleaning. In addition, the oil-flings get onto the contact-surface of the tires making it slippery when riding! :eek:

 

I've not tried Scott Oils yet, so can't comment on that.

Heres my comment of the

4 types of lubricant i've used

 

a.Wax (maxima)-Gd's-it sticks on the chain,the wax were stick n last longer den any other type.-bad's-it attrach dirt's n debris stained on it. Advice to wash the chain every 1-2mth

 

b.Lube (maxima)-Gd's-clear n clean,makes ur chain work more functional-bads-it flings n dirty ur bike if u over-coated...have to apply it often.

 

c.Sewing machine oil/EO/2T-gd-cheap(used eo) n makes ur chain clean.bad's-it flings n dirty ur bike..nt as gd as chain lube...hav to apply it every 2-3day.

 

e.Scotoiler-gd-for lazy ppl like me,less flings den no.C...n those bike w/o mainstand lolx. Bad-expensive, occupied space.

u dont know old man ride small bike more fierce than riding big bikes ??

remember last yr we go KL, a man with age change bike with Arch, than in a while gone liao, cant even see his tail light on the S4 :cry:

 

Hmmm... that's when we're going Sepang right? I also think I saw that "aged" guy on S4... but he riding w/o pillon la.. so that's why can go faster.

Our Brother Magnet should be the one getting such awards... He is really a safe rider & driver on the road, if you seen him on the road before...

But then, I wonder if I can be given a few minutes on stage when collecting the award to thank some people like my Mum, my 2 wonderful brothers, my new girlfriend whom I absolutely adore, my group of great brothers in ESR, my mahjong kakis in ESR, the TP tester whom passed me on my 2nd attempt at Class 3, old friends whom trusted me enough to lend me their cars to drive while they are overseas, etc etc...

I never did like the concepts of G-Strings for guys or gals...

Just 1 string to cover the a$$hole and a small triangle cloth to cover the D-ick or pu$$y...
