Just got my carb sorted out at Combine motor at sin ming auto center. Similar symptoms to jiansheng. Now its buttery smooth. Mech said it just dirty carb. Im happy =)

Sharing my accident with everyone,

 

Was riding from planet to town along paya lebar road(if i am not wrong about the road). As the light was red, I stopped at the junction. Before any vehicle moved off, the car behind me crash into my bike. The driver shouted "Y U CUT IN FRONT, Are you ok?".. when I was all along in front of him, stationary. I replied "I am not". He claimed and insisted that he did not see me. And I told him no, but i did not want to argue. I said my plate was missing and fender was scratched (from wat I can see, align and other i dunnoe. They ask me to look for my no. plate, and said if it is not on the road it might fall off before the accident. I was in the shock state and the traffic was heavy, how could i possibly look for the plate. End up realizing that it was bent all the way in. I took photo of the 2 vehicles, his license and hp number.

 

My number plate was stuck thus called ah chong to help me with towing. Chong was kind enough to ask me not kan jiong and tell me what I should do. There are other damages to my bike.

 

I will be going to IDAC most probably. Luckily I was stationary, thus nv fell from the vehicle. Only suffering from shock and aches from the accident. Did not expect symptoms until mins pass the accident. As writing this I was still in my post accident symptoms. Already spent close to 100 to go to the doc for check up.

 

I just do not understand why he claim i cut in front of him. If I did, i guess I would have fall and my gf and I will be injured. ( correct me if i am wrong )

 

I am sharing this so if anyone face the same situation will react better. As I was in shock, I do not know exactly what to do. :)

No need taxi receipt. Can claim loss of use of veh. Too bad it happen on a Sat, I wanted to ask u to to do report at Tan Lim motor but they are closed on Sunday. They should be able to help u claim everything. Hope you are feeling better

Did he take a photo of your bike? If he didn't then maybe can smash the whole rear end and claim new bike. Heeeee

take care and rest well. No matter what the story is, the guy that kisses your a$$ is always at fault. Reason being He didn't keep a safe distance. Still can come up with crappy story like you cut in. WTF.

haha his experience in servicing bikes is ultimate good la, but this kind of stuff... not really sure tho. but should be no worries dude. you are in advantage of the situation as u narrated. cheers.

spark plugs, air filter, coolant, engine oil & oil filter, OWS flush, front forks, front wheel bearing, brake pads, brake fluid, alarm, carb washed, steering cone, rear brake light, fuel filter, jets, front tyre, dyna carb tuning, rear tyre, rear tyre inner tubing, rear wheel bearing, fuel tubing, alternator, rectifier, battery, valve clearance/top overhaul, chain & sprocket.

thank you everyone, ah chong is dealing the case for me...any1 have experience with him? he is not very clear on everything...he still tell me might be 50-50...i abit stun...

 

Did u mentioned that the workshop is Planet in the idac report?

just got a steed so newbie reporting! bike is a fine old fl plater. rode it for a 5 days already. today i guess my radiator broke as my coolant was all over the floor at the traffic light. anyone knows the price of a new

radiator?

I'm having withdrawal symptoms already.. Feel very uneasy being bike-less.. Keep looking at the used bike section but no suitable bike.. Cannot take it..

just curious.. since my bike kinda quiet.. there is no aftermarket exhaust for steed? went to check out python exhaust, cant see the listing for steed..

 

2nd idea was to remove the silencer.. but was told that i cant put it back in.. hhmm....
