Any good spraypaint shop recomanded?

My fuel tank spray with matt black start peeling off at some edge. I spend for 1 whole week to spray just the fuel tank and yet....

Would like to know wad will be the cost of spraying front wheel guard, both front side fender (near the steering column), fuel tank, both side guard (beside the seat) and rear fender.

i sprayed mine at yeow motors at amk industrial park. costed me $320... took him about 10 days... glossy black for tank, front fender and rear fender... good paint job...

there's this guy called ah ann... he does bike mods... nv done anything from him, but got ask him b4... he said can increase fuel tank to the way u want, can increase size to quite big also... cost will be $380 without any paint job...

oh, i realised u say thru ah chong... sian, if e boss ah huat really told u that, then i feel its super unprofessional. claims onot, its still a paid paint job no matter who is paying... so if this it true, its a bit sad...

I dun blame yeow, becoz i suspect is ah chong's instruction. I send my bike to chong after accident. As usual he promise the world. y tank need spray, so send to yeow. realise paint job got patches, even my gf realise. in additional, i realise not the whole tank was respray, oni touch up(some old marks still there). but chong told me "whole tank respray liao" then i send back, this time repray but got some white dots like scratched paint. send back to yeow this time he help me polish. now my tank got bubble on the left near the seat. this is my story. after this accident n how chong help me i nv go back....

haiz, abit sad. i think claims wise can be like that hor... my accident also i sent to ah chong... n i had some problems and he quite anyhow about it... but i managed to settle myself... but servicing wise, i still only trust ah chong...

I would suggest Team HKL. Their price and service so far quite resonable. They do motor claims too. The only thing is you have to wait....

Heard of Team HKL, heard that they "good" with claims. Tat time first accident. Kan jiong ma...then chong is trustworthy to me...so go to him lo...

I'm using motul gold 3100 semi 10w40 now,so far ok.

 

Vtwin engine really needs w50 engine oil?

Was thinking to change it to motul 7100 fully syn 10w50.anyone using it?

Every 10k km i will change coolant(maxima cool aid)

 

Every 5k I will change spark plug(NGK normal plug)

Basically i would say, it depend how good the engine is.

Semi syn oil is slightly thiner grade than the normal oil. Of cause, if you are using fully syn than obviously it would be even thiner oil for the engine to run.

If after using semi oil and you don't hear any knocking noise from the engine ( on the idler ), then you can try using fully syn. Thereafter, you still don't hear any unusual noise from the engine. Why not using it. Better grade oil less carbon created onto the engine and thiner oil will have less load for the engine to move faster. Noise occur due to internal parts wear and tear. So normal oil is thicker to cover the gap intween. As such, the noise is lesser.

and oldboy`s too.. we got Ah Di to weld a housin on the rear fender to cover da tail-lights so that the wires won`t be so exposed.. so do not expect da tail-light housin to come stock with the fenders..
