Hahaha that pillion is for show or really can pillion?

 

I tested by sitting/ rocking on it. It's strong cos the metal bracket is about 7mm thick and the bracket is slotted into the chassis where the subframe is cut. (instead of sealing it up like most bobbers do).

Got the crash bars already. Now on a lookout for footpegs to

Attach to the crashbars. Hehehe

Hi guys , i am planning to mod my Steed (VLS) one of the first things i want to do is swap my front wheel for a 19" anyone a keen to exchange it , my tire have only 3.000 Km ... at least we can discuss some top up. The next will be swap the drum for a disk (not so complicated to do).

Is yours a springer? To change the front wheel requires keeping the original hub and installing new

spokes on the 19" rim. The Vlx/ vse front wheel alignment is also different from the 21" so it's better u get a 2nd hand wheel and transfer the drum and install new spokes. I had the same idea to install fat

Tyres up front too but it was too costly so I just stuck with the 21" wheels. Good luck with your project.

Thanks for your advice, i just got one of the (maybe) last springer Seed (VLS) available yet (with valid COE), now the big job start for sure change the rim is the more simple but if i do that i will go for a smaller one 16" or 17" and so i can put the Firestone front and rear , the big problem i haven't solve is the rear disc i want front and rear disc yet with Matthew (from Vicious Cycles) we haven't find the right donor but one things is sure is i will have it :-) (i am kinda stubborn)

 

At this stage i am collecting all the spare part from all over the world for made it as i want.

For the 15" i can take it (Witch larger size you have) , but for the front we are trying to find a way to decrease the size buy one way or an other so yet i can't say for the 19"

 

By the way you do a better one with your old W (poor of me i miss it)

 

Based on the change i want we have for more than 3 month if everything go as we hope

By the way i will sell ton of stock part , as we will change nearly all except: the frame/forks & engine :-), this include the Givi box the previous owner install , yet i am collecting all part.
