Of cos the most important thing is that the engine is in good condition. Other den that see if the fork seals are leaking, steering cone bearing worn and rectifier charging. The best way is to meet the seller at ur bikeshop and let your mech evaluate. Since you did visual check and the bike looks good,so just wait for your mech to give u a thumbs up. Just my 2cents

Yes, Ah Chong is good.

The seller told u Steed VLX is air-cooled?? Either he dunno his bike or he is not honest. Doesn't sound like a person who takes care of his bike, does it?

I've seen Ang Moh modded their VLX 600 to run air clloee(remove the radiator). But I dun understand why they would wanna do that tho. The bike still runs fine according to them

Maybe can consider FN VSE. got sports rim at the rear. think can get about 2.4k. And you also listen to the engine. If got slight tapping sound still ok but if tapping plus rojak sound then definitely not good. Also ask the owner to sit on the bike and straighten the handlebars. You go in front of the bike to check the wheel alignment. If front and rear wheels not aligned then have to change steering cone bearing or chassis may even be damaged. Can check exhaust , mirrors, footrest or hand grips to know if ever buang or not. Good luck in your decision. :cheeky:

Valve tapping. It's normal after riding sometime. Just need to do valve clearance.

most prob, i hope to get a servicing before i start off my life journey wif my steed, and should i go to ah chong or rosli? the seniors mentioned that rosli is more knowledgable in steeds rite? and does he open shop on sat too? cheers.
