ERP eases jams?

Its a easy way to push traffic to another specific road which they intend to set up a new ERP.

 

mayb all tis was actualli pre-planned for them to use it as an excuse to built ERP gantries evrywhere..

I would hope that by the time our little island gets so connected by MRT and buses, i would be able to see all members in parliment take the public transport. Else they are feeding us with BS.

i would say it has clearly missed the mark and thus a failure!

 

Our expressway are expressways.. just that we have too many vehicles on the rd.. and in the morning most of the vehicles are travelling to the same destination! its hard to find a solution.. but i think its surely possible!

 

Yes,if uall Notice...During the erp operation hours,some how there will be a jam near the erp gantry area,after that ok..I think the singapore gverment just making use of the jam to suck money from people....

yeah man~ the vicious cycle of controlling traffic on heavy loaded roads leading to cbd and diverting traffic to use e normal roads.

 

if they can do it once, they can do it twice and so on so forth.

my ideal expressway descirption:-

 

1. 3 lane at least plus a shoulder lane for "ambulan"

2. no speed limit but have lane rules. basically, if u are not fast enough, u are not suppose to ride in the fastest lane and fast lane. the "must give way if you are not fast enough" MUST strictly apply by all including gov body.

3. the "not fast lane" are for all type of "not fast machine". Fast machine are not allow on "not so fast lane"

4. shoulder lane are not suppose to be drive on becos it is for accident and breakdown. u may stop at the shoulder but at your own risk.

5. all must quickly give way to "ambulan"
