I think for certain things you can buy "cheap" But for more important things, it is better to get it "expensive".

But the only thing that is really cheap and good are the tyres.

Have been buying my tyres from him for the past few sets. Nobody can beat his price and the tyres are fresh... 25th week of 2005.

how old is counted as not fresh? i jus change mine, 34th week of 2005, thot not fresh but since u say 25th is fresh then i wanna know wats the age range?

 

were u at LAB last sunday? they open at 10am instead tht time

LAB got Michelin Pilot Sport tyres?They do rear balancing for RVF(single side swingarm)?

If u think it's suspect, then try to find someone who can claim his Yoshi rearsets are original. Then scrutinise those in LAB. If u think the quality is crap, don't buy it then. Simple.

 

But if it's the same, then beat the crap outta your friend then.

 

I believe for external accessories, if he can sell cheap and it can last, why not? But for engine stuffs, send to the real doctors. That's the rule.

 

 

By any chance look at it this way : In the future, LAB Jr will set up his own shop. He'd call it,

 

LA Biker Shop - Ala French. The Biker Shop. Anything u want is available there but a jacked up price.

 

Then, LAB will still be doing business and his price is cheap and he carries more variety.

 

Everyone will say LA Biker shop is good. LAB sells imitation.

 

Then ah then ah!!! One day, rumours has it.. if u put the first three alphabets in LA Biker together, it becomes LAB! Isnt that the same as Lim Ah Boy Shop?!!

 

Then pandemonium broke.. and someone will start a thread about LAB, LA Biker & Regina belonging to the same boyboy management..

whether can long or not, depends on biker bah, many just buy this buy that, fix already, months and months dun even clean their bike, let it rot under rain and whatnot...give you no1 quality also no use...

 

it's still acceptable if the thing is cheap, and doesnt last as long or quality is not as good. But if something is expensive and dont last, then can forget it.

 

lab thing good to buy, but install go other place do more advisable.

No point, lah...you being the rider must decide what you want to buy, at what price and what you want as servicing from LAB.

 

I think most forumer here already know lah...the only thing the mechanics at LAB can do on your preious bike is to fix tires only lah!

 

Other stuff you can buy from him but eithier fix it yourself ( if you know) or ask another more 'professional' shop to do it for you.

 

Stuff like sprocket, chain ( he is selling original DID ..cheaper you know?)brake pads, bearings...or anything that has to do with the running of the engine ...don't ask LAB mechanic to do lah, O.K?

 

Things like fixing box ( actually this also not so good their workmanship), change light bulbs , tyres can ask LAB to do lah!

Actually if I am not wrong ...any type of tyre he also can get for you one...the only thing is at what price and please don't ask LAB whether his Michelin Pilot Sport is 'chiong one ' or not..hahaha

i tink change wheel bearing, brake pads, chain & sprocket shld be still ok for LAB to change lah, all veri simple, straight forward job. engine def can not lah
