Heard of any engine oil cooling system for S4?

ive heard frm a technician @ tampines industrial area KHS motors.

tat time, i was changing my engine oil.

Actuali, ive saw sme S4 installed this on their bike, tat kind wif one tube sticking out of their engine oil!

Hope tat u all understand what ive said...

Wat i wanna noe is this system effective or not?

Does it help 2 reduce fc?

If it does, im interested install one!

I believe u are talking about engine oil breather pipe, which the screw cap of the engine oil is been replace by another cap with pipe.

that one, like for cosmetic one. i know got something to do with the lub oil pressure in the engine.

They said it supposed to cool the EO. but IMHO i think isnt EO supposed to be hot? coz Honda engine the hot they are the better their performance wat.

Yep...more of cosmetic,almost all 4 stroke engine have crankcase breather,if not those blowby gases that leaked through the piston's compression ring have no where to go and it will contaminate the engine oil causing sludge build up.

 

What you can do is check the crankcase breather tube located on top of the front sproket casing every 1000km. I have a friend who did not even take a look at it since he got his bike. Took out the tube and engine oil flowed like nobody buisness. No wonder his bike got soooo much carbon when he whack.
