Through out my 3 yrs of rydin a bike, i've had falls & minor accidents before...however, i won't forget e incident on e 11 Jan 08..

 

Dat was by far e worst accident i've ever encountered...

 

It was 4 plus in e afternoon when i was otw back hm from werk...i was rydin along amk..e next ting i knew, i was in hosp..i was clueless as to hw i ended up in hosp..wen i finally asked ard, i got to noe i was hit by a lorry from behind afterwhich i fainted..e moment i woke up i was oredi in hosp...

 

I cuden remember anitin abt e incident...easy to say, i suffered a concussion..therefore i had no idea hw e accident happened at all...dat dae i was admitted into TTSH for observation...e injuries i had were at my hands, mouth & abdomen..lucky for me i never suffered any serious injuries...

 

I was allowed to go hm e next dae after e doc scan me & made sure i didnt suffered from any internal injuries...however, after dat incident i kip havin abdominal pains...i cant even sneeze or cough else e pain will attack me...i was given 1 week MC but i had to extend it coz e pain stil haven subside...

 

My bike...wen i finally get to c my bike after a few daes my heart fils lyk breakin...e machine dat ive spent thousands on was so badly damaged...almost scrap i tel u... n the surveyor said the amount cost of repair is about $2800... omg .... ....

 

I all ready send my bike 2 e shop n get a lawyer but it seems tat the process is damn slow... how can i claim my medical fees? hw can i claim e daes while im on MC & e loss i suffered due to me nt being able to work OT? before diz my bike were modified using lots of accessories & after market parts n nw, will i b able to gain all dat back?? how long doez it usually take before i can claim back all these losses??

 

I am reali loss in diz matter...anyone can share sum advises??? Thnx!

lawyer process can be quite slow.. mine hit by lorry but i suffer no injuries went to lawyer 1.5 yrs ago till now no news.. call them they say still pending

wat lawyer u engaged bro? when i met with my accident 2 years ago, i engaged HOH Law Corp to handle my case. But i got witness. i was knocked down in the 3rd lane of tpe near punggol exit. suffered major abrasions but no broken bone. was hospitalised then when i was released, i went to make a statement at TP. after that i went to the law firm n they told me tat they sent my bike to a workshop & i can go there & negotiate on my repair. as most my parts are aftermarket, i even took cash from d workshop to buy my accesorries at ahboy jb. my lawyer even asked me to go to their specialist clinics to re-examine full body but i told them i was fine. cost will be borne by them tho. no need to come out money. claim took about 6mths i think. got $7500 cash after settlement. bike repair n lawyer fees all deducted liao. quite good lah their service. hope info helps.. at least u have an idea of wat shld u be expecting.. tk cr.. get well soon..

i donnoe y amk keep hafing accident. jus yest i saw 2 accident board when im frm amk to bishan 1 serious 1 fatal.. oh man u guys do ride defensively and safety.
