hi all,

 

just doing a simple survery on "Will your shoes get wet if you ride after the rain while the floor is still wet?

 

Please state the bike you are riding. Thank you :)

now SAF issuing pretty good boots wat, save the toes if , touch wood man meet tamac lah ....

 

Statistic show that if toes left expose - ie wearing slippers, are the first to break in minor accident, even if its a minor tumble or just loose balance lah.

My shoes r dry , but will have a hell of a time cleaning the swing arm when i get home .

all those that voted no must be riding scooters huh... otherwise where got possible have dry shoes..

even when riding behind another vehicle, all the water flicked up will end up on the rider.

 

i always have wet shoes, but always dry feet. thats more important.

wearing high touring gotex boots and riding tdm.

Thank you for all the reply. So i can said that most bike even S4 will get wet shoes while riding when the floor is wet.

 

Althought i use rain boots, but still once in a while socks will get wet and is too troublesome hehe :)

 

By the way i am riding phantom ta200.. its hell when the floor is wet. Not only my shoes will get wet, my jean near the shoes will get wet too... :giddy:

Not only scooters, some of the tourers (e.g. ST1100) have fairings that do a good job at deflecting the water away....

 

Think the BMW boxer engines help to do that to a certain extent as well. But no other bike beats a scooter in this aspect!

I am riding a CBR400. My shoes get slightly wet. My jeans usually stay dry enough. The annoying thing is the water flicked up by the front vehicle. It sprays onto your helmet visor and blurs your vision!

My shoes are definitely wet....unless i wear my rainshoes...
