U can hold a full face helmet and rain coat. I prefer the bike to be naked as in without any top box. Got the bike for 2 weeks, pretty fun bike i must said. Just got all the silver railing powder coated to black :)

Hi all,

As mentioned by many bros and sis in here, the fuoco thread seems 'quiet' and fuoco riders looked so'garang' on their bikes but they ain't at all active. How about a meet up for fuoco riders come Monday evening for coffee cum knowledge sharing session? :)

Cheers

Costa

If you read many other new bikes / scoots before , the first few years , the thread tend to be very hot. everybody had to say something.even those who didnt have that bike. now the trend is honda nc700 and bm scoot. even honda sw and tmax has dwindled in numbers of members (not that there are lesser riders of those bikes) its just the excitement not there??? hmmm sounds familiar

It's been some time since the Fuoco EOL was first mentioned...guess for a model that was launched in 2008 it's about time for a change...good or bad remains to be seen.

ADH said fuoco500 will stop production...any idea why?

That was the chatter since last year on modernvespa since last year... that Fuoco has been discontinued. ADH most likely got the tail end of the stocks from Italy. Just make sure the year of manufacture reflected in your LTA registration says 2012 and not 2011 or even 2010! Sometimes dealers clearing old stocks has been known to keep quiet about the year of manufacture unless the customer is knowledgeable enough to ask.

Generally not a good idea to buy a bike > 6 months after production. It will deteriorate unless used or prep for long term storage. And fresh bikes out of factories are not prep for long term storage. I will always ask the dealer for the year and month of manufacture before putting money down. What did pay for your bike btw?

U guys encounter any problem when riding fuoco...anythg to share.

Gratz on the bike bro! :thumb:

Fuoco's suspension can be improved. It's smooth on the road but if you hit pot holes, you'll feel it hehe.

The tilt lock is meant for assisting the rider in parking, would not recommend it to be used while waiting for traffic lights to turn green. Tilt lock isn't as heavy duty as it seems to take a rider's weight + bike.

The stock exhaust will rust and is very heavy. Recommend to upgrade to Leovince or Arkapovic

Recommend to change engine oil every 3k instead of 5k, as carbon builds up in the small single cylinder, four stroke 500cc engine fast! You'll feel the bike vibrating.

Every 3k oil change put some fuel injection cleaner OWS - RedLine etc into the oil tank to clean entire fuel delivery system.

Enjoy the Ride!
