Anyone here has got the Engine stalling problem ? It often happens when you are slowing down and coming to a complete stop.... the idleing gets too un-stable and weak..... Its dies... :faint:

Anyway, HL just did some adjustments to my bike recently and I can feel the great difference. It no longer idle like its gasping for air anymore. Hope the problem is fully rectified. Keeping my fingers crossed and monitoring still.

And there the mech said it was due to wrong riding techniques when I first surfaced the problem to them.... Like a year ago ? .....

just for sharing.

Regards...

the mechanic told me the same thing "wrong riding technique" that got me confused. riding also got technique one? anyway i think that it's just their way to buy 'time' before they find a solution to it.

What adjustments did they do to your bike?

Hi Briane, I am not really sure what adjustments they made. But I know they adjusted some nuts or parts that are painted red (those kind of marker markings) from the factory. According to them, this parts are supposed not to be touched at any time. But this time round, Yamaha Japan's solution was to adjust it...

Anyway, the bike's idling sound healthy now.... Thank god.... :thumb:

Hope the prob wont come to you again ya.... *touch wood*

Anyway, they are ready to change the whole trottle body if the 1st step dont work. In cases when the 2nd step dont work too. They will change the whole ECU.

Ride safe once again bro...

Removal of Air Filter for 07/08 models

1. Remove the stock air filter.

2. Install the K&N Air Filter.

Note: Locate the grooves in the air box and hold the K&N Air Filter at an angle

to line up the tabs on the air filter with the grooves in the air box.

3. Once the tabs are located in the grooves of the air box gently lower the K&N Air Filter into the

sealing grooves.

4. Re-install the air box lid and tighten the screws.
