P plate 1st time offender

Guys kena road block just now knn some ******* stole my p plate away just no choice got to ride home without a front p plate and guess what i kena road block neat lower seletar reservoir. The malay ass policewoman gave a 120 fine and she actually said 12 demerit points for me! I tot 1st timer only fine?? WAs pissed off to the core:angry: :angry: guys why like that? I din know about e demerit pts thing until i check it out with my friends and my uncle who was an ex TP. KNN how huh..

yo calm guy, in the first place, do you know that driving without p-plate is an offence? However, there are ways you can avoid this,

 

1. you can take out the back p-plate and then just ride, the road block wount stop you unless you look suspicious or your bike look "appealing to them".

 

2. go to the nearest esso/shell to get a p-plate. then fix it and ride off.

 

3. Act blur and seriusly act as you didnt notice its gone.

 

The lady officer won't know you 1st, 2nd or third timer until they key in your name to the system.

well about the demerit points should only apply to Speeding, and sumthing like that....y 12 points? y not 3 or 6 or 9 points. If i were to be caught without P-plate and a 12 points pops out of the the officers mouth, I will just look at his badge, wirte letter to MP and see what is the outcome

did u get the paper for the fine and demerit points from the officer?

if yes,

her name and rank will be there.

 

u can always appeal at traffic police.

no need to blow your top.

 

sometimes..

its the way u bring yourself that cause u to be treated that way.

u have to take things rationally.

 

if u r still not happy about it,

u can always COMPLAIN about the officer.

 

then again,

it is wrong for u to be riding the bike without a p-pate when u r still under it.

u could have called a friend,

or get a bus/cab to go get another p-plate.

 

u chose the path

to take the risk of riding without ur p-plate.

 

so u think its fair for the officer who was just doing his/her job?

You ask that aunty she ok or not got sarlar not or got driving license or not 12 demerit points? Singapore is LAW by LAW, theory handbooks says first offender gets a fine of $120 and 2nd offence will be revoke.

Wah, her attitude is horrible. nv put p plate. they can just fine. nothing wrong. its thier job

 

but if she talk so much crap like 'call father fetch', ' at night ride wan get accident'. this is too much liao. given me i would scold her. i just hate impolite ppl and the least i expect impolite ppl and civil servants.
