Don't ever dump into the sewage. Bring it to a workshop, they will take it for free.

Agree, don't ever dump it anywhere; it's harmful to the environment. I know how to change my oil but never did as disposing of the oil is a hassle plus there is a chance u might damage the engine. I rather pay the mech to do the change; it's only a few dollars more.

these are not bicycle tires, my dear. the tires, you will need a bloody gigantic lever just to pop out the tires.

repair of tubeless is a whole lot easier. the worm method rocks. using a hand pump sucks though.

i guess the only preventive measure that anyone can take is to ensure that tire pressure is set correctly. i suggest taking 2nd link. highway all the way, no need to deal with all the other buggers on the road. you only need to pay 60cents + rm1.30 per side.

BRo.... we ARE taking second Link.....

I have been having this problem with my gear. Everytime from neutral, i engage first gear, it will stay at neutral. Even though i felt the kick initially. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesnt. And when it happens, its so paiseh that vehicles have to wait for me to move off.

Anyone with such encounters with your pulsar?

things i would like to add.

1. Don't forget to have your cash card (with value!) and Malaysian RM before entering.

2. Ensure that you have a raincoat that you are comfortable wearing. Don't confidently come along with a disposable poncho under your seat and complain when your pants get wet.

3. Bring a good pair of sunglasses. Everything is clearer when you don't squint. ;)

4. If you are under medication, please bring your medication along. For example, if you are asthmatic, please bring your inhaler. etc.

5. Bring a backpack if your motorcycle isnt equiped with a box. You WILL bring back some souvenirs. Malaysia... Truly asia...!

Does anyone have a pair of walkie talkies? Its important for the pointman and the sweeper to have contact with each other to prevent straggling.

Guys, though i am not going for the trip, i would like to point ur to a place to buy air pump.

I have seen one at the marina square home-fix. It runs on 12v, but as it is designed for car, the power connector is the cigratte type.

The good thing about this is that it is really small and can output up to 300psi (if i remember correctly). It is quite cheap, less than $50.

For the power connector you can just cut away the original one and replace with 2 big crocodile clip. But do check the polarity before connecting to your battery.

It will be a good idea to keep your engine running while using the pump.

Hope this helps.

Hi, I have plans to buy the Pulsar 180 and wish to know where to get it as well as the cost now? Is it more worthwhile to get first hand or second hand?

Thanks a lot :thumb:
